So we can't find our "Tunchel" after Klopp leaves? We'll have pretty much evrey fuckin' manager interested in taking over LFC.

You're talking like we're some small unsuccessful team for fucks sakes.

Of course we can find a good manager after Klopp leaves but I doubt he will be as successful as Klopp with us if our net spend continue to be low compared to other teams.

All this talk about buying and developing a young attacking player , I’m thinking we probably have that player on our books in Young Gordon, I could see him if at Dortmund been already getting much more first team football and them having another Sancho or Bellingham on their hands
Are we to cautious with his development

Jude played 2694 minutes in the championship at 16 then 1697 minutes in the Bundesliga. Reyna played 355 minutes in Bundesliga at 16 then 1976 at 17.
Sancho played 690 at 17, 2461 at 18.
Before injury Harvey Elliott looks on his way to 1000 plus minutes at PL level at 18.
He is 16 and likely to start vs a PL team in the League Cup. He playing vs the u23. He going to get practice time with the
Dortmund a team is one build to buy these young players and give them a platform to develop them they are a little less focused on having the squad to win a lot of Bundesliga and CL(Im sure they want too but it hard to win young players who are unlikely to stay). Liverpool is a club competing for PL and CL. If they good enough to overtake somebody or get into the starting XI they start but going have earn a spot vs world class Prime age talent.
Im sure they are looking to put Gordon on a path to the first team but I wont expect him in the 18 on a more consistent bases at the earliest next season turns 18 oct 2023 but this getting him to dominate the u23 and comfortable with the system and practicing with the first team to earn a full time promotion.

He's still 16. At the same age Sancho was still at City. He'll get cup minutes this year at least. He was clearly promised quick progression here (training with the first team, u23 football, preseason with the first team, likely cup minutes ) and he's more than done enough to deserve that.

I agree young players will see progression into our first side when you look at the likes of Trent Curtis and Harvey and why Bobby Clark has signed for us and probably why i see to much in Gordon’s development  at this stage ,but have to admit he looks well capable of playing 10 games for us this season even if in the domestic cup competitions .
But the club will know best  , also don’t know why I thought he was 17.

Gordon is a Sancho/Belllingham level talent imo.

If we didnt get him last January. He would be starting in the championship every week with Derby.

I dont think we need a RW unless Salah doesnt sign a new deal.

According to R5L , Mane has just drawn level with Keegan in goal scoring league.
The number of players on the planet that would realistically compete for a starting slot must be so small that signings are going to be rare.

As long as them two stay fit then its fine, albeit it means more games that Henderson and Fabinho will have to start. Jones getting back to fitness is great, we need to get him involved regularly again.

I think we will probably play Gomez in some more games at right back to make sure we are not over burdening Milner.

Im more concerned about the attacking depth but Firmino being back and Origi putting in a decent performance helped.

Think so, I thought Mane was a bit raw even at Southampton. He was very streaky in his performances. Stepped up a level at us though.

If he’s streaky, surely we just fry him and he’ll no longer be raw?
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Funnily enough, raw players remain raw even when on a hot streak.
When they cool down, their rawness increases
.

Eventually,  they became stale,  and are signed by Everton FC.
That's the life cycle.

Yep, Klopp is a genius and a fantastic human being to boot. Please let us buy him a spare forward in January to help him grab the title this season and set us up next two seasons. Get him Kingsley Coman or someone similar. I don't want to hear about money, get the manager an extra option up top.

Kingsley Coman has never scored more than 6 goals in a league season, playing for two incredibly dominant teams. He would command a big transfer fee and very high wages. He's had 12 different injuries in the last 3 seasons. He's just had to have surgery on his heart.

So apart from all that, what makes you want him at Liverpool?

I'm all for bringing in an extra forward, but we shouldn't just be buying someone for the sake of it. It has to be the right player, and if that means waiting until next summer then so be it.
