Everton might be better asking Ashley Cole to come on instead of Holgate

Pickford on the other hand could have just accepted it was going for a corner rather than trying to set up Havertz.

True, but his problem is he has to be involved all the time, even if the ball is going out (see the Origi goal)

Just saw a replay, looked like he tried to take the player with the tackle and messed it up. People saying a broken ankle doesn’t sound good.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

Can't blame the linesman I don't think, he can't see through Pickford.

Pickford on the other hand could have just accepted it was going for a corner rather than trying to set up Havertz.

Linesmen not putting flags up early is still one of the most annoying things for me in the game. When I was watching Van Dijk this lunch time having to run back and cover when it was so obviously offside but as usual it's a delayed flag. How many players will end up with pulled hamstrings this season? Just put the flag up and take a decision.

Only one away win so far, never easy away in the premier league.

We were set up to fail today with a TV game against a newly promoted side. Just not fair.

Especially when they’re clearly offside. I understand them not flagging if it’s tight, but we’ll end up with more injuries because of the stupid rule.

Not sure how much of a view the linesman had with the ball going out on this as pickford had his back to him and would have been blocking the view, but you’d think in this day and age it wouldn’t be difficult to use technology for the ball going out like we have for the goal line.

Especially in a season like this with a break half way through and then international players coming back into a club set up with a different training routine. I think there will be so many injuries in every team this season.

Everton's record for fewest goals scored in a PL season is 34. I think they'll be in and around that mark this season.

I like how whenever Chelsea play, Reece James trends because people compare him to Trent. Being the guy everyone compares against is the biggest compliment a player could have.

Yeah don't really get why they're all over centre backs. They can get away with what they have or moving James there in a back 3, but no way they're closing the gap without getting more goals in this team.
