Fine form again, I love this show but a lot of my mates are slow to watch because of the tired geek thing (The Big Bang)

This will probably be the last series as this is the first time Linehan has gone bast three series in a sitcom.

The programme began on Channel 4 on 3 February 2006, the show has run for three series of 6 episodes each, while a fourth series started to air on 25 June[2] 2010 and a fifth series has also been commissioned.

Thats great news but strange because I remember him saying in a few interviews he felt three series was enough for a sitcom. Obviously he feels there's more in these characters, our cant be arsed writing another one. He is however one of the greatest sitcom writers ever.

a lot of sitcoms have more than 6 20-25min eps per season, so there is certainly a lot more scope for the characters here

Thats true particulary for American sitcoms, how many episodes are there of Seinfeld? I dont know but its a lot.

For me its Seinfeld they knew when enough was enough and honestly never made a bad episode unlike the Simpson's which has been erratic at best over the last 6, 7 our more seasons. If the Simpson's had ended when it should have ten years ago it might be a different story.

Only just started watching this after the missus recommended it to me.

Watched one episode about a year ago which was terrible and put me off it but decided to give it another chance.

The episode when they go to the theatre is possibly one of the funniest 20 minutes of tv I've ever seen.

You mean Garth Marenghi's Dark Place? That and Man To Man with Dean Learner are both brilliant underrated shows. Although Matt Berry does pretty much play the same character in everything he does.

Really enjoyed last night's ep.
Moss was especially brilliant - the phone in top pocket, the 'burn the jacket', Sea Parks being the 'funnest, wettest, splish-splashiest place in the world' and above all, the scene at the end where he's standing in the middle of the toy grabbing machine.

I was really worried that it may just get worse especially after the first episode of this series. Saying that though the second episode was ok but the third i'm sure will go down as a classic. Top form.
