Milner's has been a relevation, so much more positive on the ball than henderson and Can usually are in midfield

Aye to all of that. I don't think we're allowed to make subs before the 78th minute though, think it's contractual or something.

In all seriousness, if we're still at least three up by the hour mark I'd like to see Solanke and Oxlade get 30 minutes. Go on Jurgen, you know it makes sense.

With regards to the match, it's nice to see us actually putting some of our chances away for once. Maribor have been pretty poor, but we've been good, and it's lovely to watch.

Could get 8 or more here but I'd prefer we sub Phil and one of Salah/Firm at half time, Spurs are giving it everything against Real, they could be knackered on Sunday. Even without Phil and one of Salah/Firm we could still hit 8, Maribor are woeful.

Maribor are woeful but too often we've come up against garbage teams and not punished them. Different today. Get Salah off on the 60 minute mark at the latest.

I know it's "only" Maribor, but hopefully this is the start of us playing like we know we are capable doing.

Building confidence in our front-men.

Hope we bag a couple more, then bring Studge and Solanke on to try to grab one each and get them up-and-running for the season.

Very good display but Maribor were rubbish for most of the half; they gave the ball away far too often.

We have been good at winning the ball back. Midfield and defence have kept solid. Firmino's control has been good as has Milner's energy. Gini and TAA having good games.

Isn't winning nice. Small margins means this season is nowhere near as bad as some will have you believe.
