Amazing fucking signing. The ultimate Klopp player. Voted runner-up for best player in the Bundesliga 16/17. Get the fuck in!
What has the universe got to do with it? You're here in Brooklyn! Brooklyn is not expanding!

Keita seems like the real fucking deal. As good as he is and as much as he'd instantly improve our squad right now, I'm sort of happy that he gets another year of development in a familiar environment. As for the club signing a player of his ilk, it's a real statement of intent. Hopefully there's more to come...
Got to love the Klopp

they have a lot of good players, no idea what their release clauses are though. Forsberg was wanted by Milan I think this summer, and he wanted out and wasn't too happy this summer when Leipzig would not let him go, so I suspect he may be leaving too next summer. Werner is very good.

Their captain Wili Orban is a very good central defender. They have an 18 year old centre back too - Dayot Upamecano, who looks a real prospect. Their new young French starlet Jean-Kevin Augustin is already making people sit up and take notice.  Marcel Sabitzer is a very good attacker too, not as 'hightlight reel' as Forsberg, but a good player.

Nice, love reading stuff like this. Off to youtube!

Something tells me the Leipzig streams are going to be full of Liverpool fans until next summer. So they have any other players we could take? Are Forsberg and Werner good?

Forsberg is sensational and could be an interesting replacement for Coutinho if he decides to leave next year imo. And Werner is really good as well. Disregarding your positional Needs, Augustin (extremely talented), Bruma, Klostermann, Upamecano are very interesting Players as well.

It's good that he has 11 months to sort all his off the field issues involved with moving club, such as learning a new language and finding a house etc. Should help a smooth transition into the squad.

I still haven't seen a game with him, but you can't help but be very, very excited when watching compilations and clips of him. He's aggressive, skillful, involved in every part of the pitch, and the ball just seems to stick to his feet. I don't know how good a playmaker he is, but on the ball he reminds me a bit of Modric actually. Not as 'natural' perhaps, but when it comes to his movement and little passes with the outside of his boot. I'll be watching Leipzig this season for sure, looks like it be worth it for Keita alone, but their whole team seems to play good football.

Yeah Modric is a good comparison for him I think. But Keita is a bit more vertical in his playing style if that makes sense. When Keita has the ball he is exceptionally good at taking the ball directly towards the opposite box and at dribbling past his defenders whereas Modric is more likely to spin around his own Body or make a quick Body feint to get past his defenders

Just got back of Hol. I was nearly in tears of happiness when I saw this news. He's the best midfielder in the world, well he will be when we get him next year. He can literally do everything. Maybe his only weakness is in the air.

So it basically cost Leipzig Ł20m to loan him for a year. Wow they must seriously rate him. Welcome Naby!

Yeah Rangnick even made that point and said they were happy do to it. Another year and lose Ł20m. He's that important to them.

I honestly still can't believe he's going to play for us. We need to keep Can though as he's our current best midfielder. Can Keita Lemar in midfield sounds good to me.

Hendo, Lallana and Gini aren't too bad either.

We want 2 starter quality players in each position anyway to compete on multiple fronts.

Rotation. Rotation. Rotation.

Having said that I see Naby playing 70-80% of PL and CL games he's fit for.

Edit: it's just dawned on me that if we add Lemar and keep Phil, Phil becomes a squad player / starter by next season 😂 that would be ironic.

The hundreds of pages in the ASSHAT probably exhausted everyone.

It's more relief than anything else at this stage although personally I'm over the moon.

Having said that, there little more to say about him that hasn't been said, analysed and re-analysed.

Obviously this a huge, huge win!

Am glad someone else sees it. Interesting to see the serial moaners haven't said a peep in here. Probably too busy being outraged that we might not sign someone this summer. Or FSG might let Coutinho go. Because they would rather moan about possibilities, no matter how unlikely, than celebrate successes.

Nice, love reading stuff like this. Off to youtube!

enjoy! The young French lad - Jean-Kevin Augustin, was top scorer in the U19 euros championship last year with 6 goals, Mbappe had 5 goals.

He's a bit older than Mbappe, and of course, not saying he's anywhere near that level, but he seems to have some serious talent. Leipzig signed him from PSG this summer.

Haven't been this excited about a new player joining us since Torres. A whole year of waiting, but will be watching every Leipzig match, hope he stays clear of injuries.

he is going to dominate and thunderfuck the league.
