What a fuckin ball from Stevie and the finish top class.

Saying that we've been pretty poor in that first half improvement needed.

It is so amazing to see Toure still playing away after howlers against Hull City, West Brom and Fulham!    He even thumped that ref tonight!

Horrid first 40 minutes, every final ball was overhit and defence lack composure whenever Fulham get forward. Toure and Skrtel treat the football like an unexploded bomb at times.

An excellent Gerrard assist and a clinical Sturridge finish pulls us back in this but we really need to kick it up a gear.

Kolo set the tone unfortunately. Hugely important team talk at half to settle their nerves. Not sure how I'll settle mine

It's just sex and violence, melody and silence.

What a fucking ball from Gerrard. Crucial, crucial goal.

What the fuck is it with our away performances? It's the same players but the team we saw on Saturday just hasn't turned up. Kolo is turning into a liability.

Think part of the problem is when teams sit deeper and don't leave much space in the final third.
Liverpool's goal game from one of the few points were there was space to play a ball in behind the defence.

I think there's been more attempts from outside the box than we'd usually see, because of a lack of patience in finding an opening.

We're in a fight here. They are brilliant on the break and we really have to exploit it in the second half.  Could go either way.

Mostly awful in truth, they are bottom of the league but have looked a threat down our left, we look so open at times, Toure? awful again, looks like a pub player a times.... Suarez looks lost on the right hand side, he must play through the middle for me.... hard to say which way this will go

What a ball from Stevie. We were looking out of ideas until then and starting to get frustrated. I think Brendan will simply tell the boys to step up the pace a gear because I think we may have been a bit too ponderous with our passing. But really what the absolute fuck was that from Toure ? Seriously ? I know he was signed to replace Carra but FFS.

Fulham look like a big Sam vintage side.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

i still cant believe that own goal. what was he thinking? it was rolling about 5mph yet he shaped to really put his foot through like it was whipped in and completely buggered it up.

Defence looking shaky, got in down our right a bit easily at times there. Holtby clearly their main threat, get at him and wind the bluenose up. Where's the gif of Stevie's pass then

If I didn't know better I would say that Toure is either on drugs or on the payroll of a south asian betting syndicate...

Flanagan looks a very ordinary player if he doesn't put in his usual 100% effort.

Besides that it's a difficult game, just as every away game in this league for every top 4 team...
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Cissokho looks a Maldini next to Toure, this game. Anyways, halfway through, we're on the up and getting into our stride. Hopefully we show a lot more energy in the next half.

coming into it more and more as the game goes on. the threat of them breaking against toure is very worrying though, he looks bereft of confidence at the minute. very confident we'll win though, they'll start to tire soon and we'll have them on toast.

took a slight bobble but no excuses, looked like it was a right footed player trying to clear a ball coming accross him with the wrong foot guess thats one of the potential problems having a right footer on the left of the defence.

Fulham have looked dangerous at times on the counter but we've grew into the game and looked in control towards the end, hopefully Fulham tire badly in the 2nd half which wouldnt be a surprise given their effort just a few days ago. Unless we get an early second it could just be 1 or 2 chances and we have to be clinical (like Sturridge was for the goal)

Wow, we look to have the dodgiest defense in the league at times. Great finish by Sturridge. Mignolet has got to come out of his line much quicker sometimes.

One more half to get 3 points.

Without question. There's a touch of the Shay Givens about him at times.
