The fact that he is willing and able to blam one in from 20 yards gives the opposition yet another thing to worry about.

Very exciting to have both him and Keita start to look like they are getting up to full strength. Chuck in 20 minutes of Lallana every now and then and we suddenly have lots of depth and a pretty strong bench.
Roger Scruton was right about everything.

With that sort of threat from midfield, it opens the game up for Firmino and our wingbacks. More space for Bobby, Robbo and Trent to cause mayhem and they are incredibly deadly players.

Can't wait to see an AOC-Gini-Fabinho midfield. That will be a great midfield vs. top 6 teams who will try to nullify our attacks from wingbacks.
Mark my words. Top 8 will be a massive struggle.
We won't make any big signings this season and we will go back to being a top4 club.

yes, exactly.

You have to come and close him down as he may just let one fly. That means more space for Firmino and co.

He can also surge past you so you have to try and crowd him out in the middle, but if you do that you are leaving more space for TAA and Robertson. We are making Rafa's blanket even smaller for the opposition.

In the games against the best sides we can also use Henderson and Milner to run them ragged and make sure the defensive work is getting done. Horses for courses and it looks as if we very nearly have all the sorts of horses you need fit and firing.
Roger Scruton was right about everything.

Didn't think either goal was a "blam," first one was a sort of "ping," while the second one was all about a casual "doink..."  :D

AOC was saying a German journalist described it as "loofer". Probably spelt differently but a great descriptor.

My biggest worry about him was his speed and quick change of direction after such a serious injury (well, multiple injuries on the same knee).

He's not at 90 minutes full pelt yet but he looks very sharp on the turn and still looks quick carrying the ball. He's such a boss lad, he deserves a run of injury-free football now. He offers such a different dimension to our play.

Doubt he'll start Sunday. It was only about a month ago that Klopp was saying he's still having reactions with the demands of playing and training regularly and he looked knackered coming off yesterday. I think he'll be managed with one game a week for a while yet before being pushed on.
Is there any estimate you would guess when Klopp would start him more then one game a week? He did play 2 games this week already(one as sub and one as starter).

Fingers crossed Klopp finds a way to get the most out of him.

Must be frustrating has hell having to use a player like Chamberlain so sparingly.

Fair point re Genk goals. First one looked a bit scuffed so I would have that as a "shcwack", second more of a "plink" though "doink" or "ping" work too.

His goal against City was definitely a blam. Gerrard was definitely a scorer of blams.

Good to have someone who can score in open play from outside the box.

Since Coutinho left we've missed that option and AOC will give their defence something else to think about.

Reminds me of Samir Nasri.

He has long periods of inactivity within a game which isn't good but then gets involved and just breaks the lines with ease. In a game in which transitions are so important his ability to break the lines is so important. I can understand why Klopp loves him so much.

To get that power after his injury is really encouraging .....

He’s lucky to be walking properly let alone scoring blinders like that
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
“Generosity always pays off. Generosity in your effort, in your work, in your kindness, in the way you look after people and take care of people. In the long run, if you are generous with a heart, and with humanity, it always pays off.”
