As for people who could have got to 13 if they managed to buy all 4 remaining, I doubt the club will do anything about those
This is completely unfair considering plenty of people use late availability to get credits, with the fan update there will already be less on 13, no reason they can’t make the guaranteed number 10/11-15 rather than 13-19

Maintain credits but put the guaranteed number down isn’t everyone happy then?

They should honour the credits for tickets already bought - I say this from a selfish point of view as I've got 13 including Villa.

It'll be tough for the club to do anything about the late availability sales that might not take place as it's purely hypothetical whether you'd have got a ticket or not.

This is probably the easiest thing for the club to do so can see it happening. Be interesting what number they reduce it to mind. 11? 12? They'll need to work out what number gives the same outcome for the 13+ bracket I suppose.

not when you’ve got 11 or 12 so far, they can easily lower the guaranteed number

correct it’s unfair not to lower the number considering people had no fair chance at 4 games

If the season restarts then this conversation doesn’t really matter because they’ll just be the same sales just in July or whenever

It's a tough transition going from refreshing the ticket page every few seconds for the entire working week, to potentially waiting weeks / months for an update about tickets  ;D

I do get where you’re coming from, but its going to be hard to work on cudda/wudda/shudda.

Otherwise they will just have to assume that all 100,000 members will have got those remaining matches as well. How can they say some would have and some wouldnt have?

Its harsh as fuck, no fault of your own, but someone is going to miss out here and it cant be the people who have actually got the tickets for upcoming games so unfortunately it has to be those who dont

nah not good enough mate, because majority of those members probably have no credits to very few, there’s people here 1-2 games away from the guaranteed numbers and they aren’t being given a fair chance to reach it. Easy solution is to lower the guarantee because the fan update should’ve taken a good few off. It keeps everyone happy. I easily could’ve tried for Norwich, City or Wovles but didn’t because I couldn’t go. Maybe I should’ve now

why does it have to be 9? 12 or 11 or even 10 would be totally fair and it wouldn’t take tickets anyone from anyone else. Keeping the number 13 out of 15 or 13 out of 19 games when 4 games didn’t happen is just absurd. 13 of 19 is the same % as 10 out of 15

I just think its a bit nonsensical to say, (in a scenario where the league is ended now) that those who had the remaining games, their credits arent going to count, but those who didn’t, we’ll give you credits for them because you might have gotten them

No. But why would you?

You'd be surprised that people would.

and people have paid maximum 29 * 59 = £1711 for something that was a friendly at best... (if it was declared null)

I’m not saying that? The people can keep their credits but you can also accommodate people who didn’t get a fair chance at reaching 13, the club would’ve expected people to reach 13 so there’s clearly tickets for them, lower the guaranteed and everyone keeps their credits and everyone is happy?

I personally think it would be refunds given without the loss of credits.
those who’ve returned tickets - will they get the credit if it’s behind closed doors?

May actually make the club do something much fairer and do the main priority sales based on the previous 2/3 years tho

why does it have to be 9? 12 or 11 or even 10 would be totally fair and it wouldn’t take tickets anyone from anyone else. Keeping the number 13 out of 15 or 13 out of 19 games when 4 games didn’t happen is just absurd. 13 of 19 is the same % as 10 out of 15
or stagger it 13/11/9

The only way it would wrk is if guaranteed number is reduced. Because they cant assume everyone on 9-12 would have got the required games to take it to 13. They would have to assume they all would otherwise its unfair, and the reality is not all of them would have

It all depends on the number of tickets they have set aside for a guaranteed sale. Lets just use 5000 as an example, if the number of people on 13+ is 4444, but there are 5555 on 12+, they aren't going to drop it to 12 as they can't guarantee everyone a ticket. If there are only 4444 on 11+, but 5555 on 10+, it'll drop to 11.

That might be impossible depending on the numbers. There is supposed to be 5,000 tickets left after those guaranteed.

but they can really have as many tickets as they want for it, also if 20% didn’t do fan update that should be 1000 tickets available but the fact no one knows the numbers doesn’t help

There was going to very,  very,  very few returns for Palace, Villa, Burnley and Chelsea

A lot, most infact, of those on 9 and 10 wouldnt have got to 13. Not many on 11-12 either.

sure but Burnley was probably going to be easy enough, also someone who’s sorted in 12/15 late sales, probably going to get 1/4 by law of averages, anyway if the season is canned and the guaranteed is 13 then I think I’ll move home

you think 600 have 12? Anyway 5k- the supposed 20% taken out by the fan update should mean 4k, has there really been an extra 1k reached 13 so far? If I reached 13 normally I’d be allowed so I don’t see an issue. Club can’t leave people behind

The club will have a figure of however many thousand seats will be available in the guaranteed sale.

They will have numbers of how many people are on 'x' amount of credits. Then they can put a % figure on the amount people they anticipate buying in the bulks (likely high) on 'x' amount of credits.

Then you can work out how many credits to have the bulks for. Very simple really.
