That's a really poor race in my opinion. Usually in a nursery you see one that's very well bred for powerful owners that could improve a ton, but not this time. Most of them have struggled to make an impact at poor tracks like Wolves, Chepstow, Lingfield, Thirsk, Ripon etc. You couldn't rule anything out in the race, considering how little winning it should take. If I was having a bet I would probably take a chance on Johnston's improving for an extra furlong considering he has at least got one piece of good form finishing 7 and a bit lengths behind Method of Martyn Meade and Fev Rover was second that day, who's won a listed race and went down a nose at Ascot.
