AOC is the same, a squad player, they just cost more now. The fact he is one of our most expensive players ever only means fees have gone up massively, not that he is in any way more significant than the rest of the squad.

I do think Klopps integration or not of players into the team and the seeming randomness of his rotation or non-rotation are worthy of comment as he does a lot of non-standard stuff..... but probably one for another time

Moreno is rightfully keeping Robertson out of the team and AOC has one decent cameo to his name for us so far against a jaded full back. OK, he done well but we need to trust the manager with his decisions. Milner brings experience, knowhow of Klopp's workings and is a good player to boot. AOC obviously isn't ready either physically or tactically for Klopp to throw him in away from home in the Champions League.

Gutted I'm missing this tonight. Moved home a couple of weeks ago and bt were supposed to connect my broadband & tv at the weekend but cocked it up. Mrs' working late so I'm home with the kids. Can't even go round the corner to a mates' place as it's a school night and his kids will be off to bed soon.

In a hump as a result so hope we win tonight to make up for it.

Don't even have enough data on my phone to watch it via the app.

Can't for the life of me understand how Gini Wijnaldum starts essentially every game for us. It's like everything conspires in his favour as well, what with Lallana and now Mané injured. I feel like he will always, always start someway or another unless we actually sell him. It's a Kafka-esque situation in my slightly feverish mind at the moment.

I really want to see more of Oxlade-Chamberlain as well. Why is our club record 24-year-old signing behind Milner in the pecking order?

Sorry for being a miserable bastard. I still expect us to win this easily. Glad to see Karius starting.

What Milner and Gini both excel at is supporting combinations in wider areas. Milner in particular plays as a central winger in that #8 role. Look for him to move out and support Moreno and (in particular) TAA in passing diamonds in wide areas. The crucial thing though is that when we do so, we don't try to play though the middle and lose the ball otherwise they tear through us just like Newcastle did.

Eh? Wijnaldum started all but three league games last season and was in from the start.
