SOS Wheelchair and Carer Ticket v The Toon
« on: April 21, 2016, 12:15:59 pm »
Spirit of Shankly have been asked by Birkenhead Building and Roofing Supplies Limited to nominate two people to take advantage of a wheelchair user and carer Boot Room hospitality package for the game at Anfield on Saturday against Newcastle United.

The general Boot Room hospitality package can be seen at http://hospitality.liverpoolfc.com/hospitality-packages/boot-room-pre-match and obviously requires early attendance at the ground to enjoy the full extent of this fantastic gesture.

The package is for one wheelchair user who might not normally get a chance to go to Anfield) and one carer and is free of charge (but does not include transport). Either person wishing to take advantage of this offer can be an SOS member (it does not require both to be members) and in the event of more than one set of applicants we will draw for the successful pair.

Please email secretary@spiritofshankly.com to indicate your interest together with brief details of who is proposed to attend - please confirm one SOS membership number with your application.

We will announce the successful pair at 2pm on Friday - entries need to be in by 10.00am Friday 22nd April.

The Union would like to thank Birkenhead Building and Roofing Supplies Limited for their kind donation.

Would it be un PC to say there`s occasions when I`ve been on the ale with a fervent passion and I could`ve done with some care assistance?

Therefore, can I have the tickets Graham?

You can join the rest of the Little Britain wannabes who have tried to blag the tickets!

A young lad called Kyle has got the ticket - been in a wheelchair since he was little - his uncle is taking him as Dad works away (and is gutted that he can't be there).

Great piece of work by Birkenhead Building and Roofing Supplies Limited and the Union.

Let's hope for a win for Kyle.

Not at all haha .. I remember a guy, fresh outta hospital.... was so pissed he forgot he couldn't walk .. the silly bastard ended up on his face ....... I think he then needed help from his carer hahahaha  ..... so yeah whether your walking or not, having a carer is an option .. well at times ;)
