Getting in straight away is no guarantee these days. Got in within the first two minutes for Palace only to find a handful of single tix available. So a wait of more than a few minutes is not going to be of any use.

Agree with this hopefully it is something we can see next season, Spurs, Chelsea, Huddersfield and Wolves will all be mad sales at this rate can't see many season ticket holders giving up their seats and there will be thousands upon thousands in line for them

It's usually ineligible customers putting the tickets in the basket, then realising they can't buy them, they close the browser. The basket takes about 20 minutes to time out and put them back in so you see a splurge of tickets at about 8:35.

I finally managed to get one in Upper Main. 11 minute wait originally but seemed to be far more just popping up even after 30 mins or so.

For once a bit of patience paid off

Managed to get in after ten minutes and got three. Scattered across the Main Stand upper, lower and Kop 202, but i'll take that.

Was still seats popping up when I was in, problem is the countless people all refreshing and fighting over them when they do.

I suspect this being on a Wednesday night has helped.

It's what I've done every time I've unfortunately landed one of them.
