Here is a story from way back in the day.....so the year we played Everton in the Europa league we tore them a new one in Lisbon etc ............ in the return leg we where all trying to be humble and respectful etc SO what do I go and do apart from getting wasted???  I go into the LFC shop and spend some serious pounds on LFC shiirts etc...AND WALK INTO GOODISON !! with LFC bags.....if looks could kill!!!

:lmao

You're our hero, Hero ;D
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

it was a true owning, they where not only beaten they where destroyed .....BUT Liverpool right now would destroy most teams...you are so well coached it is obscene .................... seeing he who fannies about and dives around's and donkey Fernandes faces was priceless ......almost as good as seing the mug shots of the wasters from Porto when you shafted them recently ROTFL ............the only team who may stop Liverpool this season is........Bayern  Hope you guys win the PL and the CL that is a sincere wish ............and I always enjoy coming here because you lot are real footie fans not a surprise given you are LFC .........big hug

Um abraço rapaz.

Congrats to Benfica for qualifying. Perhaps we shall draw them in the last 16. When is the last time The Eagles made it this far in the CL? Good to see them back on the big stage.

Yes, a trip to the great city of Lisbon would be boss (and there is a 1 in 3 chance of that). If we do I just hope the fucking Mancs or Chelsea don't get the other - they'll spoil the ambiance (Actually to be honest Man U would be way better than those Tory-Surrey scumbags that travel with Chelsea).

We owe these for 2006.

Fella in front of me in the queue to get in the Kop got offered £500 for his ticket and laughed his head off as he declared "I'm going to watch it in the Sandon". Wish I'd been asked instead.

Surrounded by them down here. Horrid bunch. Thank my lucky stars every day that I wasn't raised as one of them.

We were waiting for you!  :D

A clash between two proper European clubs. I am delighted to see Benfica back at this stage of the competition, and still remember you guys beating us home and away in 2006 while we were reigning champions!

I'm expecting a Benfica side with enthusiasm, skill, and a nothing to lose attitude and I'm looking forward to two enjoyable games against a real football team.

Logged on just to see Hero’s inevitable post.

The tie I thought we missed out in the last round but no, the planets have aligned and the football gods have spoken…

The perfect away trip. Lisboa, Vitoria the eagle flitting about the stadium and two great games ahead.

And Bayern awaiting the victors, whilst all the plastic and shithouse clubs can kick lumps out of each other in the other half of the draw.
My scouse, the often busted but seldom battered Mr Flabby Whore Alien. Who will not send in cottoned wool, bubbled rap, shiny sliver spaced blanket and sum beefy Bovril to keep it warm and safe and snag as bag in a rag? Oh Whore yours is a sweeter leftish peg
