Belarus was quite nice.

I was in Minsk in  May (now you can travel visa free for 5 days). The cleanest city I've ever been to, not a single Lukashenko monument/poster (I was like wtf), and an unbelievable nightlife.

The strangest part was seeing so many USSR flags and Stalin-related souvenirs  ;D

I was referring more about the longer journeys though. Going to Belarus (because I saw that BATE were through) or some place in Eastern Europe on a Thursday and then playing on Sunday isn't the most ideal scenario for them.
