KillieRed Raiders Stocks Up on RB Talent
Draft Grade    Proj Record    Proj Finish
C+    3-11    T8

Draft Summary

KillieRed Raiders, who had the fifth overall pick, will be hoping to top modest projections. They added some running backs early, using three of their first five picks on ball-carriers. That early positional investment helped to yield the best quartet of running backs in the league.

ANCHORED BY A GOOD BUNCH OF WIDEOUTS, MONTANA MAGIC COULD CONTEND FOR THE LEAGUE'S TOP SPOT

Draft Grade   Proj Record   Proj Finish
A                    12-2                 2

DRAFT SUMMARY
Although they selected eighth overall, Montana Magic came through with a stellar draft-day performance. They will be looking for some break-out performances from their six ball-carriers. These running backs are projected to average 152.19 points this season, less than the league average of 189.70. At another spot in the lineup, Montana Magic was able to secure the best combo of wide receivers in the league.

Guys bit of a weird one

I replaced a WR for The Jags on a waiver.  I had to wait a day before the waiver was successful and I eventually got The Jags

Today, I decided I wanted the Broncos instead of the Jags so did a Add/Drop.  I thought this would go to a waiver request but it seems to have gone through immediately and I now have the Broncos as my DST.

Whats happening?

The waiver period passed on the players so they'e now free agents I think. Your dropped players will now be on the waiver, but those who were move to free agency if not picked up.

Post-draft there is more movement - so a waiver order is necessary.  As Mikey said, I think it transforms into an immediate act (first come first serve) at some point.

So, knowing which transactions can take effect immediately and which hit the waiver wire is the next bit of work to discern.

Usually the ''better'' players have to go through waivers the others are FA[free agents].

I literally got rid of a Colts receiver cos it's looking like Luck isn't going to be right at all, at least for the early part of the season, so to build a team round him and two receivers (one of whom is likely to drop off dramatically) seems mental to me, but to each their own.

I ask mainly because every year I usually take the time to do a top 200 but I rarely stick to it. I have a thing for wasting my own time ;D

I generally just follow what the autodraft suggests, in terms of rank, but then go my own way for position.

This year I had a solid plan to stick to position groups and concentrate on RBs, which seemed to work.

Whether that translates to wins is a different matter!

Yeah... Get all the good RBs so that everyone else has to get some no-name twat from the Denver Broncos who gets one run all game and stumbles over his own feet when it's his turn... ;)

You`ve seen my plan then...

Who was it wanted to trade for Philip Lindsay from me, by offering two of their RBs? I already had 6, why would i want 7? Also one of their guys was Matt Breida who i think will be pretty good.
