Couldn't even be arsed copying and pasting the fixtures into the OP.  Awful.

Good luck against Georgia,  were you playing the whole of the Deep South I'd have it down as a draw but as it's just them I think you'll win.

Just reminded me there's no decent sport to help get me through the weekend. Sigh.

Italy haven't lost a major championships qualifier since 6th September 2006. That was a 3-1 defeat to France. Since that game they have played 51 games. Winning 38 and drawing 13. That is some record.

Spain haven't lost a World Cup qualifier since 31st March 1993, some 54 games ago.

I think England have only three this century (Germany when Keegan quit,  Northern Ireland and Ukraine when they'd already qualified).  Just shows that seedings make things a bit too boring.

Agreed, but 54 games unbeaten across qualifiers is extremely impressive. The last time Spain lost a World Cup qualifier Zinedine Zidane hadn't even made his International debut!

No matter what happens tonight, the result of the day has to be Syria beating China in Beijing. The Syrians have more points than the Qataris and Chinese.

Three times in the last five minutes we've allowed Alaba far too much time and space to have a couple of shots and play a through ball. Can't say we weren't warned.

Cracking goal from Joey though, on his weaker foot as well.
