Yeah, I wanted him when he was there. Pretty happy when we got him, he had 2-3 good seasons here. I still remember his goal against Bordeaux in the Europa League which was a beauty & his first ever goal for us against West Brom and then he had a belter of a season in 2016-17. Shame he couldn't kick on for the last couple of seasons.

There was a goal that he scored against City that was disallowed in 2014/2015 at Anfield, it was a sensational piece of skill from an acute angle, shame it didn't count

Wasn't it him who started it after the penalty? Either way, I'm loving how quick the boys were in battling back and showing togetherness.

Listening to RAWK, I thought he’d been sold for the last three years.

Proved once again why Klopp likes him.

Glad we'll be seeing more of him from now on.

He does a lot for our passing rhythm with all his Coutinho like touches in the final third that allow us to develop our attacks. It just shows how desperately we need this type of player to allow us to play well and move the ball around in the final third.

Truly hope Klopp start using his 3 DM midfield a lot less now.

He knows where to move to when he doesn’t have the ball. That really helps.

I wasn't his biggest fan, mostly due to the injuries coupled with our insistence of sticking with him, but I had an inkling that he would be scoring when he came on. Gotta love being proved wrong :D

Well in, Lallana. And yes, I'd play him instead of Hendo in some games, but there's no way I'd start him ahead of Keita (in particular) and Ox. He did very well with his minutes.

Like Keita and Ox, he's also not afraid for that to be a place where other players are, and nor is he afraid to pass to other players in such situations.

Hendo can be very good at beating players by bypassing them - with his running or a longer pass - Lallana can take them out of a game by letting them stay on him.

I've always rated this guy. His ball control and vision are nothing short of immense

I felt today that we struggled to make the ball stick in the final 3rd, particularly when we looked to zip it forward quickly

That changed when Lallana came on

I reckon if you struck a ball as hard as you can at him from 20 yards away he'd still trap it, turn, and and find a team mate

Very few players as skillful on and off the ball as him. Some of his turns and moves are a joy to see. If it were possible he's a three-footed player.

But he needs players with similar close skills on the ball to play that intricate passing game. Apart from injuries, Coutinho leaving reduced some of his perceived potency.

It was a beautiful goal - made mainly by Robertson but Adam still had to ghost in and finish it off. Loved the celebration there with him, Trent and Oxlade. Especially Oxlade - I hope that Lallana and Chamberlain being on the pitch for an important moment like that helps us again in the future when we might need them both. It was absolutely joyous to see how much it meant to both of them that we got that equaliser. They've sat out most games and done their bit in training but they absolutely fucking cared that we had equalised and I think it says much about the squad unison we have. Get in there.

Well taken goal and, more importantly, he was there at the right place, at the right time evading the defender.

Great goal, and I'm very happy for him! But putting him ahead of Hendo based on a part game is ridiculous. Let's see him after 4-5 games and then we'll have a better idea where he ranks wrt the first teamers. We will need to use the whole squad, so he has a role to play.
