I picked Ballack cos people said judged by whole career before the draft. Otherwise I'd have never picked him.

Okay... apparently he was the PFA young player runner-up to Rooney and played very well in 04-05 on the left flank for Chelsea....
and had a good last year with the club 06-07

About right. He had his best years for Bayern. But even at Chelsea he was good but not necessarily the star man of the team.

I'm mostly impressed with Hazell's overall approach (still 2 Liverpool picks left and taking the best Leicester player in round 1) and the balance of the players he's picked so far. Pires-Silva-Robben is an excellent attacking three, with Kante the perfect man to sit behind them breaking up the play and doing the hard slog. Grade A drafting. Let's see how he fucks this up
