But according to rawk experts, RB position isn't that important, and Milner is perfectly fine there.

Welcome lad, we missed a proper RB.

What are you on about? I don't think anyone prefers Milner there to Trent.

Anyway, great match by the lad last night.

Trent himself posted it a few months ago, that's how I saw it and I think that's the song he's referring to now when he says he is grateful.

Me too. Only poor players play at full back. We need to get someone without his skill in at number 2.

Clyne  ;)
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Shows how much we've missed him during his absence. It's going to be a real problem to find effective cover for him, certainly in the attacking sense.

I admit it, I didn't previously appreciate how good he was. I knew he was good, but good God! Last night was the best performance by a Liverpool full-back I have ever seen. My memory goes back as far as Roy Evans days.

Really hope he doesn't turn out to have these little niggles and time on the sidelines often. So important we have a healthy Trent, the entire team works better when he's playing.

I think the performance last night is a really good example of why Klopp let Clyne go and why Clyne was keen to go.
Solid full back, yes. But a million miles from what Trent can offer, and while Milner has struggled defensively as a deputy, his forward runs are much more dangerous than Clyne's too.

The one to the 'Push it' tune is good too but the one last night is so simple and needs to be belted out at Woodison :)

Loved how after it was 3 or 4 nil Klopp bollocked him nicely once or twice about something, no idea what just lots of arm gestures then he had a proper word with him on the touchline. Nothing serious but not letting Trent rest on his laurels, always pushing him to be even better.

Is Harry Kane still eligible?

Only half joking, the rules around it are a bit ridiculous, it’s aged based rather than experience based so someone like Sterling is probably still eligible even though by any standards he’s a fairly experienced pro now.

You need to be 23 or under at the start of the season. I’d imagine TAA, Sterling, Rashford and probably Sane will be on the shortlist, plus 2 others. I’m probably forgetting some really obvious players.

Doubt Gomez played enough games to be in the running.
