The Links Bar used to be good for games. They'll show them everywhere now and there'll always be Reds around. We watch them in the Hermitage in Morningside sometimes which is way out of town but just below my mate's flat.

Are you after kind of supporters' club bars or...?

In all honesty just somewhere to show it.

I assumed I'd be persona non grata with the Edinburgh derby being on but it looks like no-one is arsed in Edinburgh.

My digs are city centre so didn't want to trek too much after running 10 Miles

I'm in Turkey for the next 2 matches, never been so gutted to go on holiday in all my life!

Anyone got any reccomendations for watching the Reds when in Marmaris?
Will you please kindly refrain from all this rational common sense bollocks.

Someone has said something on a social networking site, so it must be true.

Just back from Iceland where I watched the Norwich game- The gaumbar that is listed for Iceland was not open. I watched the game in a very friendly pub full of Icelandic Liverpool fans.  The pub was called the "English Pub".

Just incase anyone else is on their travels. They had 6 massive screens

Watched the last game of the season in Tokyo and the only place you need to go is Foot Nik...a proper Liverpool pub with pictures of Shankly, Anfield, pics from Ian Callaghan's visit and home to the Japanese LFC supporters group. The locals know all the chants and seemed a proper laugh (even with the language barrier).

Here's some pics from my visit:

I'm off to Kiel on 25th September to the 28th to watch Arthur Abraham vs Paul Smith Jnr. Obviously we play the bitters on 27th which is the day of the fight so I was wondering if anyone has any experience in watching our games in Kiel and where to head to.

Some of our travelling group are watching the match in Hamburg then shooting on the train to Kiel after but I'd rather be settled in a bar in Kiel watching the Reds hammering the Blues and set for the Real Gone Kid to become World Champion at night.

Cheers

Hey hey. Looking at the list for bars in Washington DC, there is quite a few.  Is there any in particular that is more popular than the others? Where are people going for the QPR game?

Travelled Europe for 2 months from January onwards last year and managed to catch every single one of our games except for (wait for it....) the 5-1 win over Arsenal, and that was only because I got lost looking for Ned Kelly's in Munich. Thankfully managed to find it on the next attempt and caught a few games there over my stay. Anyway, these places showed all televised EPL games:

Berlin - Kilkenny Pub (Irish) - Get off the train at Hackerscher Markt Station which is one stop away from Alexanderplatz, the pub is just downstairs and about a 30 second walk away. Very easy to find. I watched a few games in there and there was a decent atmosphere.

Munich - Ned Kelly's (Australian) - This is mentioned in the main list on the first page and that's probably where I found out about it in the first place. I watched multiple matches in here and there's a lot of English people and fans of the game in general, it was packed every time with a great atmosphere. A few Utd fans like is suggested on the first page but I had no problems with them despite cheering Fulham's great comeback to level it 2-2 in injury time thanks to Darren Bent.

Barcelona - There are two bars both facing eachother just off of Las Ramblas, they're on the road that has a McNasty's and KFC on either side of it. It's doing my head in because I can't remember either of there names but hopefully I've described it well enough, Las Ramblas is obviously a massive road but the Maccies and KFC should be visible enough, they are what let me know I was heading in the right direction on the many, many, many occasions I went to watch our games while I was in the City.

ATTENTION:

Longford Irish Pub in Budapest doesn´t exist anymore, went there after New Years to catch the Leicester game. Ended up in some other pub being forced to watch Arsenal.

 :wave

Edit, there is another Irish Pub in Munich, owned by the same bloke as Kilians/Ned´s,

City: Munich
Pub: Kennedy´s Bar and Restaurant
www.kennedysmunich.com
Tel: +49 89 599 88 460
Sendlinger-Tor-Platz 11 (right at the U-Bahn station "Sendlinger Tor")

Remarks: Basement Pub like Kilians but a bit bigger, live music nearly every night, (Beware of Karaoke)
Nice warm-ish atmosphere, about 7 tellys in the place, mostly showing different games. Probably not the best place to watch, as the TVs are mostly muted. I´ve only ever watched our game against Everton (4-0) in there, always a few reds around. Other than that, best bet is to watch the games in Ned Kellys.

Need some help here. I'm going to be in Dallas (Irving) all of March and really don't want to miss any of our games. Anyone know of a good place easily accessible from Irving? I don't want to watch the games in my hotel room - actually, I'm not sure the hotel cable will even have our games on.

New place opening in New York soon...

https://twitter.com/CarrasNYC

Only been "officially" announced today with not much detail, but if I'm putting 2+2 together, it's going to be in the Times Sq area. It's run by the same guys who run The Boot Room in the Financial District. They're doing a superb job of spreading the Liverpool gospel in NYC. They're the guys who had the Anfield Wrap over, and they've had John Barnes and Jan Molby over in the last few months. To top it all off, Carra's going over there to do a Q&A later this month.

Any word on when this opens anyone? I am in New York next month for a few games, but probably a bit too early?
The reds are comin up the hill boys....

Watched Southampton vs us in Hamburg recently:

City: Hamburg
Pub: Paddy's Bar
http://paddysbar-hamburg.com/
+49 173 2382654
Schauenburger Str. 40
20095 Hamburg
(round the corner from Town Hall)

Remarks: Pretty small pub with 3 tellys, two in the bar area and the other in a small sort of loungy bit. Watched the Southampton game in there, bottled beer is 4 flippin 50. Can't really say anything about the atmosphere as the only other Liverpool fans in there had to leave after ten minutes to catch a plane. The toilet was covered in HJC and JFT96 stickers, friendly staff who really want to make you feel good about having one beer after the other.
Before my trip I asked them on Facebook to see if the game was gonna be shown, got a "YES!!" within two minutes.

City: Stuttgart
Pub: Biddy Early's
biddyearlys.com
+49 711 6159853
Marienstraße 28
70178 Stuttgart

Remarks: Basement Pub. I really love this place and I don't know why. AFAIK there's two tellys. Watched the FA Cup defeat to Arsenal in there last February, sitting at the bar with a Irish Red next to me and a couple of other Liverpool fans who didn't pay much attention to the game and no one talked to each other. Game was shit as well, but the local Lager is quite nice and once the football watching folk is gone, you can meet some really friendly people in there. I was only there once, so maybe the atmosphere can be quite nice.

I was in Alder Hay with an abscess on my hip in about 1973 and Bill Shankly never came and played the bongos for me.
