Good to hear that, but it sure wasn't like that a year ago. At least in my experience.

I lived in Belgrade for a long time. Always paid rent in euros, having withdrawn the cash from an ATM in RSD then converted it to EUR at a Menjacnica. I'm still a regular visitor (I'll be there next week ) and I'm confident nothing has changed in that respect. Current official FCO advice says "You should exchange any unwanted Dinars before you leave Serbia." https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/serbia/money

As I mentioned earlier, if one couldn't exchange RSD for EUR, the Menjacnice would be out of business.

Crucial wording there "part of". So they can take more from main allocation.

Nightmare of a journey from Budapest. The coach was 4 hours late but met some Belgradians at the station and they took me for brekkie on arrival. Meeting them again before I leave on Weds. Its boss out here and the locals are friendly . Had a few pints before and a slice of pizza which cost less then a fiver. Time for some kip.

I moved from Belgrade last winter so wouldn't really know but if everything is okay it should be great fun. This is a unique occasion so I guess there'll be a lot of LFC fans both local and travelling ones hanging out together tomorrow. Will be a bright, shiny day so the good fun is guaranteed.

Asked Serbian police and asked what time we’re leaving from the square and they said to be there for 5.30, to leave for 6.00. Anyone had same advise? Seems late to me

We got on the bus at 5:10, it didn’t move for over an hour then we missed kick off. Shame because until that we’d had a cracking time out here. Will make up for it now though.

Police escort was well done if a bit long. Seemed well organised but also seemed like there would be little bother anyway.

Got in the coaches just before 4. Into the ground about 5:45 I think it was.

Heard some complaining about not been able to get in? There was loads of space at the front not used and the loads of space near me around row 30 and loads to the left.

Bad organisation if people did not get to see which is what I heard.

Brilliant city. Fascinating.

Thought we were never going home-they stayed for about 40 minutes after the whistle.

Oh and the club were not joking about the licensed tour guide. I thought it was a translation error.
The guy on coach 1 was loving his role keeping us updated and then telling us facts along the way.

Likely our end would have more than half cleared out in the final few minutes of the match had we been allowed to leave, and we could have casually walked back into town by the time their fans had finished celebrating, and long been clear of their fans..oh the irony.....two hours after the final whistle we got dropped back into central, all a bit unnecessary and becoming a running theme sadly

The tour guides on the coaches were great, said some really interesting stuff. Ours was a Partizan fan who was hoping we'd win obviously. Warned us the Red Star stadium was collapsing which was cheery!

I didnt enjoy them kicking some some our feet apart when searching. I told him that he's not doing it to me . The moment turned into comedy when he took me Red Star hat off and me lighter fell out.

The ground was 20 minutes from where the buses went. We always allow an hour extra for getting into Euro Aways. Thus far this season we’ve spent 2 hours circling the ground in Naples & last night where we were kept in for over an hour afterwards after all that ball ache beforehand. We’ll chance our arm with the locals in future
