Plus that shootout pen against Chelsea, right bang in the corner. Magical stuff.

And a perfectly timed tackle in the Merseyside Derby  :P

Love him.  Happy retirement Dirky lad.

The last minute penalty at Woodison. The Chelsea penalty. The hat trick against Man United. Not sure which of those was my favourite Dirk moment.

All of them! Always gave his all for our club.

I think people forget just how good he was at taking penalties.  The one against Chelsea in the CL was a cool as you like. Was a My fondest memory of him is absolutely battering John Terry in a PL game at the bridge. A warrior for us and a bloody lovely guy.

Pity he isn't 10 years younger right now and still at our club playing for Klopp, his pressing/workrate and goals would have been amazing.

                                                                                   Firmino

                                                                 Mane                              Kuyt

                                                                     Coutinho           Lallana

Not a bad front 5,a bonafied pressing machine and plenty of goals. :D

Not too fussed about this leak, as with any Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) the players in question have had permission, so they followed protocols etc, altho havent seen what substances they are. Is strange however that of the 3 players names, 2 have retired and the other, i'm pretty certain, doesnt give a flying fuck  ;D

The Dutch press had the details, it is important to note that this was not a TUE for a ongoing problem or a "allergy", which is what the main complaint when alleging cheating via TUE's. During the world cup in 2010 he had a wisdom tooth extraction in South Africa, the host nation, and got the TUE for dexamethason, a corticosteroid.

^^^^Yeah read up and as far dirk goes, he had a tooth out, stop the presses. Whats the point in a leak like that as its hardly a hot take?

Edit. Had a text from an LFC friend who knows next to nothing about this story... His take was as follows "well if anyones's gonna put the Hero into Heroin... Its Dirk Kuyt"  :lmao

Dirk awarded a testimonial at Feyenoord!

Stevie, Carra, and Dudek are going.

Also the likes of Cocu, Van der Vaart, Sneijder, Robben, Frank De Boer are slated to be involved.

Suarez also apparently wants to attend but cites CL final as maybe a conflict.

New season, new beginnings! I am looking forward to be the new head coach of the @Feyenoord Under 19 talents next year. #Feyenoord

Good first step for him! Quite a few of our players from the 06/07 team have stepped into coaching now. Gerrard, Kuyt, Hyypia, Kewell, Bellamy, Zenden, Fowler, etc

Because it doesn't look like him.

Looks about 10 years younger for a start.

Now, if you said it was Iain Dowie's younger brother, then maybe...
