Can't believe we're in our 2nd Champions League semi-final in a row after last being in one 10 years ago

saw a stat on twitter the other day, that said if we reach the final it'll be our fourth in the last 14 years and no club has been in more.

Says something about our love affair with this competition considering that's in a period of time where we've nearly sunk into administration, had Roy fucking Hodgson managing us and finished eighth twice.

Can't believe the allocation given based on 10 year UEFA coefficient. That has naught to do with the current UCL season, but if I understood that right (I probably didn't), the poorer part of Manchester would still earn a few truckloads of cash regardless how they'd do in the competition. Just because of the 10 year coefficient.

I'd sort of understood a small portion given that way, but not like how they do it now.

If Firmino isn't available then absolutely Salah or Mane play as the 9 imo. I rate Divock as a sub but he's not starting at the Nou Camp

I agree, we may go with a diamond in midfield and play salah and mane up top.or.play Keita in the half.space in Manes position and Mane centrally. There are options but Bobby would be a huge loss so here is hoping he recovers

Easy to forget sometimes with the pursuit of the league, we are in a CL semi against Messi's Barcelona. Our biggest game of the season coming up. What a tie!

Get through these two games and we are in a consecutive CL final. Not going to be easy, mind. Its a 50/50 tie, as is the other side of the draw. Two exciting ties.

Yeah, that's why it helps that Man United at least won't be in CL next season. The more we keep these teams out of the CL, the more we can keep their coeffs in checks.

Keita might well play if Bobby is out. Diamond midfield with fab at the back, with Wij and Milner to the sides covering the full backs.

We are a much stronger team than Barca and I would expect us to be appearing in Madrid.
