Do you really think only three would displace our players? We are much stronger? Wow, I thought I wore rose tinted glasses. I think we have a chance, mostly through a good defence and our explosive attack. Either way, it will be close.

We are stronger than Barca and I expect us to win. That doesn’t mean they are a weak side, far from it but we are stronger.

Think we've got more dimensions at our disposal than you may think. Personally quite intrigued with the idea of playing Keita as the false 9 in a diamond-ish midfield. I don't know how much traction that idea has in general (maybe just me) but another body in there is an option worth thinking about. I'll call it the false defensive formation.

I don't think any of us view them as favorites, the bookies though and it's down to Messi. I believe this is 50-50 because of him and Suarez when he's arsed, but mostly down to Messi.

Having said that being favorites is really unimportant. See Ajax.

Weren't you advocating for Keita as the 6 a few months ago?

Suarez is their Stoichkov. Dangerous. They are still a great side - one of the very best - and am so looking forward to it. Counting the hours down as we all are. Great to have a good few days to prepare.

Odds are pretty even and rightly so... some may say that this was the final that should have been (have seen that)... but no... this is the semi final that should have been. The other semi had Man City and Juventus in it. Thankfully we wouldn't have to face either if we get thru... which is exactly what Barca will be thinking. Whoever wins will be favourites obv. Let's make it us who are.

I would say both teams are pretty even and if anything we are slightly better.

Also, looking at their results in April they haven’t been convincing at all. In fact they were only decent against United and that is hardly fucking surprising because they’re a mess. They have been cruising because they’ve had the league wrapped up for quite awhile, while we’ve been playing at a very high level for months. They’re in for a big shock.

Keep it tight and sneak an away goal and avoid giving needless free kicks away. Referees are easily swayed there. It's the way it is and most officials are chuffed as fuck to be part of the Barcelona gobblefest. Don't give the ref any room to be biased.

As for Suarez and Coutinho. I don't give a monkey's about them. Suarez has made it clear that he'll be celebrating if he scores.
Please please please ignore these ex-players in the home leg. They are ex players and for those two games they count for nothing.

It will be interesting to see how Klopp approaches this game. Normally he chooses a pretty cautious tactic in tough away games in Europe, and it seems like a natural approach to stay low and use our pace on the counter. But I wouldn't be chocked to see a high press in the beginning, to try to get Barcelona stressed. I think they're too skilled and experienced for that to pay off though.

Similarly, he could go with a number of different midfield combinations. I hope he dares to give Keita the chance. Playing Keita and Henderson as 8s has given us the most creative midfield performances this season, and they are both excellent in defense as well.

Everyone seems to expect an explosion of chances and goals, but it will be two teams with a massive respect for eachothers' attacking players. Both teams like to push their full backs high, but will they dare to in this game? I can imagine a pretty slow game, with two teams that are excellent in keeping possession.

There's nothing scary about them anymore and we're a damn sight better than anything they face on a regular basis.

Just hope for a strong ref, these will be diving all over the place and surroundig the ref appealing for anything. Busquets seems more immune to yellow cards than Fernandinho too!

I think if we are at the top of our game they will struggle to live with the tempo and energy- and the way they have defended when I've seen them means Mane and Salah could have acres of space to exploit. Just a shame Gomez isn't fit, I think his athleticism would have been perfect for the Nou Camp

Vital that we don't give free-kicks away in or around the box. They'll be falling like flies. Hope our boys go down when touched too. I'm not advocating diving, but going down easily after being on the receiving end is perfectly legit. We've got to attack them though. We can't afford not get an away goal.
I reckon we might surprise a few people and hit them with the kitchen sink in the first half hour. The wider pitch is made for TAA and Robbo.
