The €6m buy option could look a good deal for Sevilla if he gets his Celta form back.

Pretty much this. Not a bad player guess he didnt have the best of luck with the fact that Suarez and Sturridge were in such good form last season. On a lighter note that corner will haunt my dreams forever. Goodbye blades  :D

Where does it mention that figure? The loan is to increase his value, not to sell him for the price we would have gotten for him now anyway.

Good luck, blades. Somebody post that youtube video please ;D

It does say in the Sevilla article that they have an option to make it permanent.

Can't fault his attitude, always gave his all and celebrated like a fan on the sidelines even though the easier option would have been to sit there and sulk. Hasn't quite worked out for him with us but best of luck in the future Iago.

Of course, but I doubt its for €6m. Probably more likely £8m, our breakeven figure.

Last season teams were willing to go upto £10m, but we swooped in.

Also I would imagine we got a loan fee too. Luis Alberto's has been confirmed as £1m so maybe the deal is basically our breakeven (was it not £7m?) - the loan fee.

Actually just checked, Celta confirmed the deal at 9m euros. At 1 July 2013 that was £7,693,380.

So if there is a 6m euros buy back clause that would be about £4.7m. If our loan fee is £3m on top of that then that is just good business. Although I would expect any loan fee would be around the £1.5m mark.

Yeah, very much doubt the loan fee can be £3m. Maybe we are giving a discount to sweeten the Moreno deal; assuming, of course the buy clause is at €6m.

Let's see what Barrett and co. has to say about it; but then Barrett has been reporting Markovic at £25m ::)

Why do they agree to put a buy clause in when loaning players?  I dont get how it can ever be beneficial to the seller cos the loan club will only ever take up the buy clause if the players worth more at the end of the season, unless theyre italian where they will just try to renegotiate it anyway.
