I don't know how Prof is going to get a +2 and -8 on the graph?

Maybe we'll all have to switch to portrait?

Whilst we're waiting, here's this:

"I said to the boys before the game it would be impossible. But because it’s you, I say we have a chance."
Jürgen Klopp, 7 May 2019

"I told them if we score it will be different. We scored. It was different."

Might be worthwhile adding them on if not too much trouble, Prof. Brandon is doing a good job and might finish above United.

That 90 point line is our perch and we are well and truly back on it. Meanwhile, a certain other team has fallen off and I think they'll continue falling for some time yet. Happy days.

Were the blue noses(players and fans) supporting City at the weekend? A bit early in the season maybe but if we don't win the league it's a successful season for the blues

They probably were. And if that's how they get their kicks ... good luck to 'em.

But that APLT Table Comparison has them second from bottom on -12 ... despite having a better manager & better players than us, and winning the last three summer transfer windows. You've gotta laugh at the Blues.

Think its interesting that Arsenal have already played 4 par 1 games but we have only played 1. Means we have a lot of hard away games to come and only 4 of the easier away games left.

I always remember my private rule of thumb - that any club planning to do top four or better needs a minimum 20 points from their first 10 games.  That we've done that with 3 games to spare bodes extremely well, especially as I know our lads will be gunning for maximum.

Yes true. the average rank of their opponents (for last year) is 10th, while ours is 13th. Citys is 12th. We have only met two of last years top 10, and that includes Arsenal at home. Arsenal in contrast have had us and United away and Tottenham at home.

The next three games for us are against top ten teams- Leicester, United and Tottenham. I'd be much relieved if we get through them with full points.

Leicester are the only ones I'm even slightly worried by.

I'm not - they are dangerous, but they also play the kind of game counter-pressing was made for. I think a Soyuncu mistake under pressure will give us the ball for a goal, and maybe a VVD header unmarked from a corner. They are well capable of getting one themselves though.

Mockers Law, though, says that Brendan might break our run. Not sure we can do anything about Mockers Law

Nor can Rodgers, though. It was under his reign that we first learned the awful power of the mockers.

Don't start with the mockers stuff or we'll get to the reverse inverted ellucian geometry mockers again, and we all know how that ended - with a guy promising to remove his testicles if Man City didn't win.
