The match may have been poor but that was a penalty shootout of the highest quality. It took a save of the highest quality to end it.

We got out of jail there. Ok their goal was offside and to be honest they didn't do a lot else (was it one shot each on target after 90 mins).

Made up we got through in the end. We were dreadful though. Not creating one worthwhile chance in 120 minutes against Stoke at Anfield was pretty grim. Without Coutinho and Sturridge this team is very average. Still, overjoyed we are through to yet another league cup final.
