Aintree Grand National Meeting: 3rd, 4th & 5th of April 2008
« on: March 27, 2008, 01:41:19 pm »
Rumours in the Daily Mail yesterday that kauto star may be running in the John smiths handicap on the thursday.

Some, good racing going to be happening so any tips or form guides would be great. Plus photos of the women on the friday...

Kauto's either going in the Betfair Bowl(3m1f), or the Melling Chase on the Friday (2m4f).

More likely the former because rumour has it they're sending Master Minded for the Melling Chase instead.

Told myself to stay away this year, but the thought of those two running is very fucking tempting indeed.

Tips for today. Should be a good days racing.

2.00 Albertas Run - Dont be put of by yesterdays showing from cheltenham festival runners, ingles drever  always runs poorly at aintree and cant believe he was such a short price and that people where lumping on him. Albertas Run is a total differant case especially when ooking at his form when racing over 3 miles he has won all 4!

2.35 Gone To Lunch (E/W) Has been peforming well in top class company this season without picking up a win always seemingly getting going when it was too late. first time visor fitted today which may make all the difference.

3.10 Master Minded (Nap) banker of the day even more so now that monets garden isnt running

3.45. Irish Raptor very good chance in this one and is a very good e/w bet

4.20. Captain Cee Bee - Another of the cheltenham winners that has come to aintree beat binocular at cheltenham which looks very good form considering the way binocular romped home in yesterdays John Smiths Novices Hurdle

4.55 Kings Euro - Heard from a very good source that kings euro has been primed for this and will take some stopping.

5.30 Yonder. hughie morrisons horse looked a potential star at exeter on his first start when winning with plenty left imo, given too much to do at cheltenham when just failing to get up but todays longer trip will suit him better and with mc coy taking over from johnson i think this is the bet of the day for me at the likely odds.

Put a little bit on Simon, Mr Pointment and Comply Or Die....so I'd steer clear of those if I were you.  They'll probably be shot before they get to the starting line.
