Stefan De Vrij (check out his wiki page looks like he's keen on coming to us)

From Wikipedia:
Early life
De Vrij grew up in Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, South Holland, Netherlands. He's the youngest son of Jan de Vrij, who played for local club vv Spirit, where Stefan de Vrij started his career. Besides his father, De Vrij is the only football player in the family. He wants to play for Liverpool and says that he will be 'defo made up like' when he signs. No. I only get to the games during the Uni holidays.
Who looked certain to be sold, but has saved themselves with good performances? Also, conversely, who looked a good player or crucial that might now leave because of poor performances?
Downing looked a goner but he's risen like lazarus from the dead.
Was superb yesterday & was my MOTM for both his defensive work & the fact he really got at their backline - topped it off with a goal - can't ask for much more.
Shelvey started the season as a Rodgers favourite but hasn't really grasped his chance.
Not saying he will be sold but can see him going on loan (ideally to another PL club which would do him good in terms of gametime)
We have 3 young central midfield players - Allen (22), Shelvey (21) & Henderson (22) - who are currently fighting for 1 shirt in the starting line up alongside Lucas (26) & Gerrard (32).
-Shelvey has shown some early promise although lacks the maturity & consistency at the moment to hold down a regular spot.
-Allen started brightly but had a dip in form although he looked decent yesterday & steadied the midfield when he came on.
It's his first season so I'd be looking for him to kick on next season as the likes of Enrique & Downing have done.
-For Henderson see Allen in year 1 but he's really impressed me this season with his improvement & looks like he'll go on to be a very good CM player.
Based on this - what are your thoughts on the need for us to look for another CM player this summer as cover for Lucas / Gerrard ?
