TAA was a lot less attacking minded last season. So while he dealt with Sane effectively last season, he was mainly staying in the defensive zone.

He has already chalked up 40 crosses this season in the PL vs 102 across the whole of last season

Don't suppose he will be playing Dejan Lovren on the coach home.

Milner strikes me as a lad who may enjoy an opening gambit though.

Saw an article the other day, before the match against the grandmaster, where TAA mentioned playing Ben Woodburn a lot.

Shoulda led with P-k4.  and then: Finished in 17 moves its just embarrassing. No progression with these youth its woeful. Playing a 19 year old against the world champ just ridiculous. The speed on that guy TAA couldnt even get to his clock before some knight was right in his face. Thrown to the wolves. Klopp out.

Joe has come on a lot both at CB and I think he performed better at RB against Manchester City than many times last season.  With Lovren now back and midfield a little tight, I wonder if we might see Trent in midfield again this season.  I suspect we will look to play Joe at RB against the big teams, but we could still have a solid midfield, albeit one with more thrust, with Trent there.  Or is that just fantasy football

What we should do is take the one of the best u-21 CB’s in Europe, during a moment when he is cementing himself in that position (and some may argue almost out performing the worlds most expensive cb) and play him out of position so we can take the best u/21 RB in Europe and also play him out of position.

JK was spot on with his team selection.
Pre match i thought Trent may be rested & to be fair he needed it,i don't think it was just a tactical switch at all.

And to facilitate that, play Gomez at rb.

I’ve no problem with Gomez playing at RB if Trent is underperforming or not suited.

Hopefully he's not to involved during this stupid international break.

He's played a lot of football the last 12 months and he didn't have to much of a summer break either.

20 years old! He's growing up fast. It will be interesting to see his development over the next couple of years. His experience playing in games of such magnitude, against players of such quality by the age of 20 will be invaluable.

You can tell he's a special player, slightly patchy form at the moment, hopefully he's rejuvenated by the end of the international break.

And any decision to play Gomez at right back, as our manager has just done.

Re Trent, maybe those calls are made because it is a possible issue.  And this is a forum, where people can talk about possible issues.

Midfield is a little tight?  ;D
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

but even in that scenario - that player would be 24 in 12 yrs.

we. are. doomed. DOOMED.

I have to tell you - we were caught a bit flat footed on this whole aging thing. I'm more surprised that the Bitters figured this out before us and applied it to balance their squad. That's why they have started so fast this season.

I'd love to see all the messages in order, as from what I can see in the messages she's being incredibly selective in what she's posted.

Someone's gotta make a "u got snapchat?" banner now  ;D

And yeah not sure why he'd be in any trouble, the messages are lame and not the sort of language I'd use when sliding in to the DM's but he's just being a teenager really.

He's 20. Not a kid. Just stupid really. You would have thought the PFA or the club would have sat down the players in the era of ME Too and told them not to be so tonedeaf and idiotic.

Before anyone jumps on this comment, not arsed really, just silly from him.

She's clearly been on the set up too. Loads of texts are missing, plus there are times where she's been the first to text him to try and get him to say something.

He'd an idiot for getting involved with someone who is with someone (pregnant or not) like.

Basically sent a few messages 'propositioning' a pregnant Russian girl after she asked him to send her partner a congratulations on being a father message :D

Some girl asked him on Twitter if he could record a message for her fella for father's day (bizarre). It then escalated (she doesn't show how) where they talk about having sex. She's pregnant by her fella.

Looks like a set up in the end, certainly looks like she's been very selective in what she's put up online.

Nothing much to it. It's a bit of a none story to be honest.
