I don't know how much of it is genuine rehabilitation and how much is trying to carve a new niche career for himself, but it's hard for me to dislike Michael Cohen. He just sounds so free the way he gleefully mocks Giuliani and reduces Joy to helpless laughter.

He's quite the raconteur. His apparent rehabilitation is masterful - but I very highly doubt that it is genuine. Yes, he's very easy to like. I can understand how Cohen could charm people; I have never understood how anyone could be charmed by Trump.

I think some of it is genuine. He never cut a deal and he never got bailed out. He's served prison time. But yes, I do think he is presenting a persona to the public that will enable him to carve a new career for himself. Time will tell though I suppose. It is not genuine. Listen to the man. He is in a bind and making the best of it. He is a Trump lackey that got shat on. His rehabilitation should be classified as revenge. However, his insights are hilarious and his phrasing is fun. Love the fact he mentions Guiliani's intelligence and drink problem. End of the day though we are talking about someone that was glad to work for Donald fucking Trump.

And I don't disagree with you. He is only at the start of his journey, and he will need more than an act of revenge to make up for his past deeds. However, I do see a man who looks relieved and liberated. I don't see a guy in a bind as much as someone who has hit rock bottom. He has a lot to prove, but he's earned a chance.
