Are aways a closed shop now? I started using the exchange in 2011 and if you were in the top 4 or 5 replies you'd pretty much be sorted for everything except the tiny grounds and the oversubscribed, although I have got Goodison and OT in my time. These days there seems to be absolutely nothing about unless you know people. This isn't a RAWK complaint, I must add. Is it because we're good? Or are aways just generally becoming harder to come by as the credit requirements inevitably go higher and higher as people have to hoard?

It's much harder to get sorted on the exchange these days. Far fewer spares going for aways these days.

I got one with 18 so on 19 this season... chances of gettin one again this season I'm a member with 19 not STH

Can't see hospitality taking that many considering the early kick off time and a cold day in December.

Its down to a combination of the club giving more away tickets to Corporates as a sweetner to buy a seasonal hospitality package, and the ease of touting nowadays with your Stubhubs etc people on high credits who tout dont have to suffer the embarrassment of having to meet the poor fucker whose giving them 200 quid plus for a 30 quid ticket.I agree unless you know someone with away credits its very rare to pick one up randomly on the exchange now.

Anybody ever had a game missing from their purchase history?

Just went to check where I sat for West Ham away last season and it 100% isnt in my history.

I got 12 credits last year (including west ham) which is definitely right because I bought in the 12 credit Man City sale the other week. Just counted all of last season and it is 11 because West Ham is missing

Really weird!

Have you still got the confirmation email somewhere as proof? If so I'd contact the TO about it. At least the system is acknowledging you bought it though if it let you buy in a 12 credit sale.

I see Arsenal are taking the piss with their FA Cup allocation to Utd again. They've done that to us, Utd and Spurs. Not sure what the point in the 15% rule is if they can just waive it whenever they want.

It's back now, but my one from today has gone haha! Really weird, must be some sort of glitch because it's the same fixture or something

No chance i'd risk speaking to the ticket office, they would probably suspend my membership...

Will end up on 11 aways, missed out on Huddersfield, Burnley, Watford, Bournemouth & Fulham due to insufficient credits & couldn't go to Man City, Wolves & Everton away & couldn't get rid of my tickets to my circle of close friends.

Huddersfield & Fulham are definitely relegated & hopefully replaced with clubs with good allocations (around 3000) like Leeds & Villa, but would like Bristol City to get through the playoffs as a ground score for Ashton Gate.  Norwich & Sheff Utd will be 50/50 on 11 aways.

I need Burnley & Bournemouth to get relegated next season to get me up towards 19 credits in the next 2 or 3 seasons.

It was only at the last minute that I wasn't able to go, so was too short notice to get rid of them.

I've not been updating this spreadsheet for this season's allocations etc.  Can somebody join the dots for the away games so far, I just need what each away has sold out on (initial sale & returns), I can get the allocations & what change there's been versus 18/19.

Can you also add if there were no further sales after the initial one?

I'm hoping to stay at 11 aways this season (maximum of 12, depends on the Blueshite).

Cannot wait to start getting back to the aways, miss them badly!

Assuming we are back to full capacity, which looks likely now; what does everyone think the credit situation will be?

I finished 18/19 on 14, and was on 12 when last season got stopped so was on course for about 16. So not too gutted about them using 18/19 credits, is that the same for everyone else or did you have more in the games played with fans in 19/20?

The nice thing is with credits not counting I can see the big ones like Soton/Leicester going to members, giving people a chance to get to aways who couldn't before.

Hopefully Brentford go up as well. I couldn't pick 3 more boring clubs to go up than Norwich, Watford and Swansea..;.

They will surely have to use 2018/19 credits, given that they've said they're doing that for the home games, stating that the 2019/20 season was 'incomplete' in terms of ticket sales.

There is though, the group that reached the 13 home credits last season for the first time, that are fighting for the right to be included in the sales for the home games, so whatever the outcome of that is, the club will probably be consistent and do the same with the aways.

It's not going to make very much difference though, as the same people will have kept up their credits. Your 14 from 2018/19, would probably be equal to your 12 from 2019/20 anyway, in terms of what games you would qualify for, however they do it.

As you say, there will likely to be more availability lower down the pecking order, with there being no need to buy, to retain credits.

I would assume so mate

Anyone else notice they removed Everton from purchase history? Pretty much proves they will bin off the 2019/20 away credits.

With the above comment in mind, I wonder if there might be less uptake from supporters branches now that season tickets will be in individual names rather than multiple ones in name of the branch lead?  Not sure how it will work, but I'm guessing whereas in the past the branch might get a load of paper tickets based on loaded season tickets, and hand them out as they wish, that ain't gonna be possible anymore now?  i.e. They won't get paper tickets anymore and it will have to be named individual who goes with a digital ticket?

Yeah I know of quite a few people who use supporters clubs who would get handed a members card to use for a game and then hand it back after, and it's dawned on a lot of them that they've lost their meal ticket and maybe they should have tried building up their own credits instead of taking the easy route.

Yeah seen the supporters clubs use members cards it's a common practice among northern Irish clubs I think, makes sense to have a bunch of full members cards then distribute to different members each week. In fairness it's at least a step better than touting but can see why supporters (like us) who build and only use own cards it's a bit of a shit one

Unlikely imo. People still want to go. Some of the older lads who have the credits but only occasionally go will still just buy them to pass them on to friends/family.

If it does drop by some chance, I'd hope they somehow use home credits to provide a preference, although seems unlikely.

I have my doubts whether away ends will be too regular anyway for a while (not to be negative).

Screws up some of these Supporters Clubs' travel plans though. I know a few OOT coaches that pretty much rely on these tickets when available (or just spares shared within the OSLC) and I'd imagine it'll be tricky for them to consistently put on coaches now. Most of these people have been going regularly for many seasons but never bothered with ticket sales for some reason, even when it was 'easy'. I guess if you're not so IT literate or too busy it's not ideal.

I would assume so mate

Anyone else notice they removed Everton from purchase history? Pretty much proves they will bin off the 2019/20 away credits.

19/20 credits are being scrapped for league games as it was incomplete

It was always a given that the cancelled games which had sales already would be removed from history or count as credit, but they've wiped 15 homes off too, which has screwed a lot of people who had just made the jump to 13+ for the first time

Yeah as of last friday the club still had no confirmation from the PL that they'd be having away fans or what any capacity caps will be

Probs be using NFC tickets at most grounds like they trialed with palace a few years ago, so dont have to worry about posting tickets out

Norwich have not started selling any home tickets yet for this season. Norwich's members sale is expected to be at the start of August, so probably the same time as Liverpool's members sale.

i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.
