Having recently been ordered out of part of our city centre the other night, by high-viz minders, whilst part of the city centre was tuned over yet again to film crews. It occured to me how often Liverpool has, now, and in the past, been so accomodating to many and all for filming locations.

It's always a nice feeling when something on TV or at the movies and you realise, and shout out to yourself, "Thats Liverpool", as the penny drops you are looking at part of the city, albeight usually dressed up to look like somewhere else.
So here's a thread to pay homage to our wonderful city, and surrounding areas, and it's film locations, be it Hollywood blockbusters, or just lowly TV adverts.
Even better if you can post a link from youtube or other video sharing sites, with the locations visible. Oh, and this page may be of help, although it's ceratinly not complete, as I can think of numerous films that have had scenes filmed here that haven't got a mention.
