There's Goodison and another car park next to it as well but they are £15, are hard to get out of afterwards, and sometimes only let you in with a permit as well, so I'd try to get in Gwladys Street school if you're going for that option, never usually hard to get out of afterwards.

Is there not a limit on how long you can be there? Any of the roads nearby there aren't bad though I've found.

Normally park at St John’s primary school, but not sure how early it’ll be open from on Saturday and I’m planning to get to the ground early. If that isn’t open early, I’m sure I read somewhere that people park near Everton Park and it was free, possibly around Hayworth street, but I can’t for the life of me find it…..Does anyone park round that bit on match days? Had a look on google maps and there looks like there’s free parking in Rupert Lane.

Anyone know if Goodison allows drive-ins still? Someone said it’s pre-booking only but can’t seem to find any info. Cheers.

The prices have gone up! Paid £30 to park in the builders yard on Utting Avenue. No time to drive about being an early kick off.

Parked in North Liverpool academy, loads of spaces and decent walk to ground BUT nightmare getting out and as I need to get on East lancs Road takes ages to get round Stanley Park etc. Great if you are OK getting away that side of ground though. £8 as well which is quite good.

How much…….  :o Did they wash it for you as well!? I was shocked when St John’s Primary school asked for £10…. It was £7 when I parked there last time against Atletico.

Always parked here. Had to fight tooth and nail for a spot last weekend. Lots of people arrived dead early obvs and traffic was difficult to predict.

Leg it back to the car afterwards and get away is always sound for me.

£30 is madness. Even if money was no issue for me I’d refuse to pay more than £10 out of principle. Daylight robbery.

I was surprised when he said £30, like I was given OOT tax.

The last two times I have been up there has been cones on the M56 right after you get out of Liverpool. They took it down to one lane which was a nightmare. No sign of roadworks in the coned off section. Are they there not on a matchday or is someone taking the piss?

Will be at the game on Saturday, will be getting there at about and hour before KO. Will parking still be available at the dockers club, or is it cutting it fine?

Mostly pass only, but they do take a certain number of cash entries each game. Just depends if you’re there early enough.

Fine with paying. Usually park in Goodison for £10 but it’s mainly permit holders only now and it can be a pain getting through the traffic back towards the tunnels. Was thinking the Power League means a longer walk but might cut some of the traffic out?

They do charge and it does get busy. Which way you going? I've used there before and then done a rat run to get through kirkdale towards Bootle to avoid traffic.

Does anyone know if Asda is still free?

The issue will be getting out of the car park as its busy turning left out of powerleague.

When I've done I've been near the entrance as I've been playing footy before the match and then turn right before turning onto Smith Street. You would also be turning right out of the car park, which should be OK if you can get out. If that makes sense

Noticed Walton Asda has signs up saying No Matchday Parking but saw loads were using it - anyone get fined £70 or are they just scaremongering, don't think I've seen the signs in previous seasons.

Parked here for Chelsea and last night, the signs are up but no ANPR cameras whatsoever or machines where you enter your car reg. Walked the whole car park to check. So wondering if it's scaremongering for now and maybe ANPRs/machines installed at a later date.

Thanks, I looked for cameras on the exit as I went past but couldn't see any. I've parked in there loads in the past with no issue - and I often do a shop in there straight after the match too so it's not like I'm taking the piss (that much!) - to be honest the 3 hour time limit would probably work ok for a night game anyway if you legged it.

If you see any changes in the car park please let us know in here if you remember, and I'll do the same!

That car park has a thing to note your reg on entry, I don't know how it works or if there's someone checking though.
