Need to start getting consistent with some wins and today is the perfect time to give us a huge confidence boost. Starting to lose some ground on the teams above us and only a win will do today.

I'd like to see us play a bit more pragmatically than we have against you in the past. Rather than playing our usual game, I'd prefer to see us play similarly to how we did in Madrid, sit deep, play direct counter attacking football, possibly play Llorente up top and Kane in the number 10 role and then having runners off them. The last two seasons our tactics just haven't worked and to be honest, Liverpool play like demons possessed against us. So I am approaching today with some trepidation.

Dembele and Wanyama are a big miss in central midfield. Looks like it will be two of Dier, Sissoko and Winks again in there. I think ultimately both teams will have even number of chances and the winner will be whoever is most clinical or conjures up a bit of magic. I want to see Alli have a strong game, he's been way below par this season so far.

Cheers. Hopefully we're all still on talking terms at the final whistle    ;D

Klopp figured out how to cancel out the goal machine that is Lukaku, so as long as he has a tactic that does that for Ingerlund's 'Arry, we should be able to dominate. I put their general level of success in recent times to the extra time their manager has had with them compared to ours, and I think the two managers are the best two in the league, discounting Guardiola and the open cheque book approach. We have tended to edge them in our confrontations, lets hope this is another of those.

Biggest difference between the two in Phil's favour imo is he delivers much more in big games which are the best barometer of gauging someone's quality. They're practically the same profile of the player but when it comes to who's more likely to deliver on big stage smart money should be on Phil.

Just wondering what you base that on? Obviously for Coutinho you base it on watching him frequently, but what makes you say Eriksen does not deliver in big games?

I didn't say Eriksen doesn't deliver but that Phil delivered much more in these games over the last few years.

Should be a good open game.

Well up for this, hopefully we keep the goal scoring momentum and we can make a bit of a statement here. Spurs are a proper team now and it'll be tough, but we seem to have the measure of them. 4-1.

Should be a good battle against the other most quality team in the league than City.

Hope people realize that at halftime and full-time. (A dream I know!)

I take it Wijnaldum is injured?

Wasn't against good teams, including Spurs, last season.

Hope he's not out for long, won't be a good few weeks with lots of matches if he is.
