Finally back online. Bit mad that we're starting this over new year to be honest. I'm in an incredibly remote area with barely any wifi and even then it goes off after 5 minutes sometimes! I see we have a zillion new managers since I've been away too

I was going to slide down to division 3, but the top division is looking a lot of fun now so I'll stick with Depor. Will make my pick now.

Yep. I think we have to accept that after this round everyone gets a slot to make their bid. I think the draft has to be for 11 players minimum rather than a free for all which will end up happening.

Just get the initial 11 done then build from there. Some people will have more money left over than others and therefore bigger squads etc.

11 or whenever your money runs out and you have to go for frees. Whichever happens first, no transfer funds then you can't draft really.

Although that does raise the question of someone going hard early and then scooping up frees.

Might be an idea to allow people to be going for frees now?? At the same time?? What do we think lads?

Also don't forget that the draft order works in snake format, so it reverses for round 2. The managers picking last in round 1 get to pick first in round 2.

Could go either way I think. Mainly just wanted to be in a world where the seasons are really short and chaotic as hell!

I'm imagining a scenario where a Div 2 manager misses out on the title by 3 points, misses automatic promotion on GD and gets relegated to Div 3.
