Beginning to feel like tickets are gonna be impossible.

Gutted for my brother, assumed it would be easy for this and gave the same impression to him. Im such a prick  :-X

Even at the last selling attribute its Season ticket holders with just 1 FA Cup credit. :(

Wont be many of them mate. Away goers would have at least 2 I guess. Even people who only went Man U home would probs have gone semi or certainly used their qualifying card for a mate or whatever. I would be surprised if there is more than 500 STH with 1 credit, if that. Also if they werent bothered about the semi or final last season, what makes you think they will go to what is pretty much a friendly match?!

True Tony.

Im just worried about those season ticket holders buying tickets for their mates. Not that theres a problem with that, I just dont know any season ticket holders with one credit ;D

Seems unlikely to go to a general though still.

Is anyone getting tickets online with FC and FAC Final?

Its telling me no pre purchase even though the FAC Final is on my order history.  Phones engaged solid since 8.30.

Edit: got through on phone and got tickets (choice of L4 U33 U34).  I was told that this morning the system is showing "no prerequisite purchase " for nearly everyone.  Presumably this is only an issue today and only for FC holders.

Online requires two of the following.

ST
FANCARD
FA CUP final ticket

A lot of people are unlikely to have a fancard purchase on their history.  I don't as my fancard is free with a PTS.

It also means that STs who have purchased a fancard are eligible today for a ticket even if they never got a final ticket.  Can't see how this would apply to anyone though.

That explains alot to me. I was trying earlier online and my card which is PTS was not validating, but my mate's who just has a standard fan card was. Thought I was going mad! Good old phones.

Fri Aug 4-Sun Aug 13 Season Ticket Holders Must have 1 05/06 FA Cup game on Fancard.

what's the point in this?
from what i can see there's going to be tickets left.
there might not be a hell of a lot but why not stick them on general?
seems to me like they couldn't be arsed

because otherwise theyd probably get 15000 calls for 100 tickets! At least this way they are keeping in line with the rest of the selling phases. Its like having a euro game and selling tickets to people with 3 credits, then 2 and then going straight to general. its a bit tight on those with 1 credit.

I thought the tickets for fans who were in ballot went on sell today.

So I logged online and choose a couple of tickets and I had the usal error about not previously purchased the pre-requisite product(s).

But it also said that my fan card was on hold and I couldn't buy anything, I rang the ticket office and they said it was because of the cup final tickets in May and the special delivery letter!!.

I told them I entered the balllot but didn't get a letter to say if I failed in it or not and she said ok and took it off hold.

Glad I noticed that today and not tomorrow when I was trying to buy tickets.

So anyone else who didn't get a letter should check just incase their card is on stop.

I'll be chevved if it goes to general... Had resigned myself to watching it in the pub because my uncle had decided to buy one after I used his ST to accumulate all the FA cup credits from last season.

I know it doesn't give us the whole picture, but there aren't many sections available online at the moment. I checked this morning and there was only L38, U1, U4, U6 and U8 left and when I tried to get 2 sitting together in L38, it said "not available".

Anyone know if they'll be releasing more sections online for tomorrows sale or is that it? (Can't be arsed with phones!)

Cheers

Don't think itll be too bad to be honest, less people trying than a normal general sale and if it's tue that the take up hasn't been that good so far, would make things even easier.

I am row 19 in L2.

22.50 including the booking fee.

Happy with that, nice cheap ticket and I've always been in the U tier before so it will be nice for a change. :)

Gutted, they've got £15 tickets in the upper tier available on there aswell. Dirt cheap for a great perspective on the game. By the time they change it, I'm sure they'll be unavailable.
