If Klopp was getting the same results with that set of players we would be hailing him as a miracle worker

I wouldn't.

He took a top 6 team and kept them in the top 6.

It's likely that Pochettino has blown his chance of a move away from Spurs this summer, given that Solskjaer's inevitably going to be confirmed Manchester United manager, while Mourinho's return to Real Madrid seems imminent.

I’m not sure Sir Harold’s ego would manage the Europa league if that were to happen. Old Trafford would be calling.

And with the stadium opening this season he'll have plenty of time to get his fill of that new window taste before leaving.

He’ll be off I reckon. He’ll hang around long enough to try and get the first goal in the new stadium and that’ll be that.  If that’s not until the start of next season then he’ll drag it out to the end of the window in August, but if they play there this season he could be gone in the off season.

Has their run of bad form coincided with Kane returning? I know he scores goals, but does his selfishness sometimes impede their play?

Obviously, too small a sample size to infer that, it could just be a coincidence.

Not just because I despise Kane, but given the choice of any one of their players, I'd take Son without a second thought, really lovely player, and would fit in seamlessly with the Reds.

Pretty sure the rule is PL clubs window to register players closes sooner than other top leagues. Could be a ready made excuse for Levy to have to sell him for £150m and not be able to sign a replacement and pay off some of that stadium?

Well, moving to an expensive new stadium has certainly worked wonders for a much bigger club in Arsenal. Why wouldn't it work out amazingly for Spurs?

Hell, West Ham even got one for free and haven't exactly improved a ton because of it

There might be one other tiny reason they're doing well.

I don't see ENIC selling Spurs soon though, certainly not for cheap. So even if someone buys them, they won't be going on City-like spending sprees

They also had a bad little run of 2 losses in 3, prior to Kane's injury. So that makes it:

Last 7 PL games with Kane: W1 D1 L5
Last 4 PL games without Kane: W4 D0 L0

Cherry - picked numbers for sure, but it's the Goal Thief so fuck it.

I think its much more that Christian Eriksen's form has dropped off a cliff since the new year. 1 goal and 2 assists in the last 9 league games, compared with 4 goals and 5 assists in the previous 9 before that. Might not be so bad but for Dele Alli missing most of the year so far.  Unless Son does something, they've no creativity in the final third.

Depending on who you want to believe, either the Juventus or Man City jobs will be available soon. If Juve can't get Pep right now I could see them turning to Pochettino, who's of Italian descent and I assume speaks the language at least somewhat, and if not... well it's a bit like Swedish and German, it goes fairly quickly.
