Some poor mistakes at the back, but I wont complain about that as I've wanted us to play our young reserves for a long time now. Mistakes like that will happen when we play 19 and 21-year olds, but there's hardly a better time to make them than at 2-0 up and when we've got pretty much nothing to play for in the league. Rather play Flanagan and Coates to see what they're made of than experienced players we know have no future anyway.

Shelvey, Johnson, Bellamy and Maxi, of course, have played well. Too bad we couldn't have an 'easy' game leading up to the semifinal, but Maxi and Bellamy in particular must have made a strong case to play in that game after the first 30 minutes.

I think that we should appeal the Red Card as Doni was going for the ball but even if he gets the extra game Pepe will be back so there is no reason not to appeal.

Wouldn't it make more sense to, you know, bring him on at left back where we have a right back, so we can move the right back to right back, then move the midfielder at right back into midfield, so that we have everyone in positions they're comfortable in rather than 3 players playing out of position?
