Jordon Ibe scored his first goal for Bournemouth in a pre season friendly against Portsmouth. The game ended 3-3.

If he can keep fit that's a great signing for Bournemouth.

I think a greater signing would have been actual defenders! Does seem to have brought and loaned well in midfield and attacking areas but seems to have made little attempt to fix that backline

Good win today, beating small teams at home is vital for them and they did that pretty comfortably by the sound of it.

He was shite last week v City kept giving away possession.

Quality player.  Been with them all the way from League 2.  They are a far poorer side when he is not in the starting 11.  Surman, Arter and Wilshere will give plenty of sides something to think about this season.  Top 10 chances.

Thought they were far better against Arsenal, than they were today. They were very poor against us and we allowed them to get on top.

Against Arsenal though they were the more dominate side, through out the game and were unlucky to lose.

Don't entirely agree. We dominated in the first half but after we got the third goal, it was mostly them. No complaints.

Well played Bournemouth.

You could see just how much it meant to Eddie Howe.

A team that plays good football and has an English coach...

Somewhat unique.
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
“Generosity always pays off. Generosity in your effort, in your work, in your kindness, in the way you look after people and take care of people. In the long run, if you are generous with a heart, and with humanity, it always pays off.”

Top 10 and an outstanding achievement to finish 9th with the 4th smallest wage budget in the league.

I had a ton at 5/1 for top half finish at the start of the season.

Next step up is Europe or trophies.  Finishing 7th or above is a tough ask with the size of the clubs they need to overtake.  Howe only plays second string teams in cups so far, so that unlikely too.

25/30000 stadium due to be announced in October with completion in 3 years.

Rumours of signing Ryan Kent and Joe Gomez this summer to add to the former Redmen, Jordan Ibe and Brad Smith.

But don't forget they have been bankrolled by a rich Russian owner.  Not as rich as some, but wealthy nonetheless

Well done to them but it shows you how absolutely piss poor all teams from 8th down have been if Bournemouth have finished in the top half with 46 points. 2 months ago they were in danger of getting sucked into a relegation scrap and it's not as if they've gone on some majestical run either to get to 9th. Last season 46 would have got you 13th, and the season before as well.

I think the next thing for them has to be another year of consolidation, because let's face it will Callum Wilson recover his form after so many injuries? Will Josh King (assuming he stays) have another season like he has? I think the two most glaring areas for them are goalkeeper and the fact that their recruitment, particularly outside of the PL, has been pretty poor. If they don't improve their defence in the summer, they are in for another relegation scrap

Callum never looked the same player when he came back.  Not sure he ever will be.

Will take a massive bid to take King.

But also rumours ex-cherry Defoe on his way back.  He has goals in shite Sunderland teams so he will get goals if he signs.

Bankrolled?  Hardly.  The starting team on the pitch today cost 11 million I believe.

GK?  Boruc one of the players of the season this year and bid for Begovic of the plastics in January.  Highly likely they will be back in for him.

Defence?  Yes, one of the worst in the league at goals conceding but they could have our old Lawrenson and Hansen and they would still concede because of the the way they play.  6th highest scorers in the league and one more than United.  Fantastic ;D
