great news. still hope he is fully rested for the next game. better to recover fully rather than suffer niggling effects til end of the season.

Won't happen. Swansea have an outside chance of the play offs and are running out of games.

Apparently Swansea are absolutely awful in attack, so Brewster has been getting far fewer touches than in your average functional team, making his 7 in 14 record even more impressive.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Was about to say the same. Good habit for a goal scorer, to be in the right place at the right time, doesn’t matter how they go in or what they go in off then.

He certainly seems to be getting better the longer he’s been fit and able to play regularly. Who’d have thought?!

There's so much more to his game than just finishing chances.

Swansea would be nowhere without him, he's the one reason they still have a chance of a play-off place.

Everything good goes through Rhian (well almost),he also came close with a header and lobbed the keeper but was just offside, class lob though.

Barely mentioning him. They probably don't think of him as their player, but I'd have thought a forward with nearly double figures at 1 in 2 would be appreciated more.

I live in Swansea, so have managed to watch most of Brewster's games since he joined on loan and I have to say I have been very impressed. Swansea don't create that many chances/aren't that offensive, so for him to be scoring 1 in 2 for them is no mean feat. He is so much stronger than I thought he would be and his link up play is good too.

In terms of his future, given next season there will almost be a game every 3 days, I think we should keep him around the first team squad for the first half of the season at least, especially if we don't make any signings.

Are League Cup and FA Cup games enough for a young footballer in their formative years?

Excellent in the box but struggles to get into the game outside of it. Not someone who team can play off but that's partly down to the fact the team can't really play.

Think we need to see him in a better side.

It's really impressive that he can't stop scoring for a team that apparently can't create a high numbers of quality chances. It's almost like he's the Erling Haaland of the Championship, but if Haaland was playing for Schalke instead of Dortmund with close to similar output.

And coming from an injury as well, it's quite outstanding.

The thing Origi needs is a run of games, he's hardly played at all and people are expecting him to instantly find form. It's been patchy from a number of players so far and they're ones who've been playing most weeks. As for Brewster, the way Klopp has been talking it sounds like he has still got a chance for the new season which is good news.
