Burnley are fucking tragic. Playing against a 10 man Allardyce side and they’re second best.

How have West Brom managed to fuck that chance up!

I mean obviously yes I know, cos they’re shit. But still. Making us look like mugs here.

Palace to escape the drop by larcency. Or Brighton cannot score, esp Lallana,  to save their lives!

Watched the second half, not seen a smash and grab on that scale since Yernited did us in 07 with a 93rd minute O’Shea goal.

It was incredible. I was thinking if I were a Brighton fan I’d be fuming it was somehow 1-1 and then they went and scored again! Two touches in the Brighton box all night and two goals!

Brighton looked good for about half an hour in the second half, just couldn’t take a number of presentable chances.

Even with how we’ve been dropping points recently, we’d have found that a bit far fetched if it happened to us.

Brighton would be comfortably mid table if they had a good forward.

25 shots v Palace.  11 different players

cf. v Man U, 19 shots from 9 players

Another muted commentary for me. Tried to listen for 6-7 minutes, but Hinchcliffe’s constant running down of every move that doesn’t result in a perfect goal, followed by a detailed description of what should have happened, is beyond insufferable. The pitch is dreadful- tailor made for a groin/ adductor injury.

If that’s outside the box then Bamford gets a free kick, just like Ayling got the free kick for a similar challenge on the halfway line.

Southampton are awful, wise move leaving Taki and Ings on the bench. Good old emotional Ralf will have plenty to cry about when they hand him his p45

Saints well and truly beaten, they’ve been rubbish from what I saw of it.

I’m presuming Ings, Djenepo and Minamino starting on the bench was to ‘rest’ them?

There's just a shocking dearth of talent in this Saints side, outside of a couple players. Djenepo is tragic, Bertrand is overweight and past it and players like McCarthy, Armstrong, Vestergaard and Bednarek are bang average at best. Redmond and Adams should probably drop back down a division.
