How? This just an off patch like the entire team. This isn't the same as VVD covering for Lovren or Gomez. Robertson 5 months ago was the most complete full back in the modern game and also when will the Mane this Mane that stop lol

He was dropped for Tsimikas 5 months ago? You mean 24 months ago? His crosses are the exact same zero variation, bread and butter for any defender. He’s always ahead of play when we lose the ball he’s miles off position. He keeps on shooting and playing center forward roles. We need someone than can use his right foot more than for his standing. Trent is a million times better 1v1 defender. Yet he gets ripped apart weekly. Robertson has not been good for a long time.

I think some of his defensive decisions lately have been really poor. There was the throw in against Brighton where he seemingly just figured someone else would mark the player closest too him and now today it's his man that beats him to the ball on the free kick and then he just waits for Keita to cover? What? You're the closest defender. Even though Gomez makes an even worse error by just heading it right back into the middle it's the fact that the player was allowed to cross because Keita was farther away that was the start of the whole thing.

Not perfect, but one of the few Liveprool players performing at a decent level at the moment IMO. One of our few non-problems.

Correct, nowhwre near top form but nobody is really. Alisson is the only experienced player who looks remotely the same.

Robbo is one of the few who still shows the will and intensity going forward, but the rest of the team is not functioning. My main problem is his defending these days, its really a problem. Have a look at the second goal how he is standing off and letting a player pick out a player with a cross, absolutely zero pressure. And its not the first time, its happening again and again in every match now.

He's not as effective but he's one of the few on the pitch who will always give you 100% and looks like he still gives a shit.

We waited a long time for a good quality, durable left back and he'll be very difficult to replace when the time comes.
