Any chance this wont be charged at full price? Would be nice of the club to not want to squeeze every last penny out of us for a 3rd round cup match, regardless of the opposition.
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

Hope so but because it's the derby I'm not so sure they will change any prices.

I remember when we played Utd in the Europa a couple seasons ago they didn't charge full whack for that, but not sure if they will do the same here

Will they definitely get the whole Annie road like wolves and Plymouth? I wouldn’t be surprised to see us restrict it somehow as we’ve only got to give them 8100 and I think the whole end is just over 9000 so we would be giving them more tickets than necessary

Do the bizzies still do match risk classifications? Can't see them doing anything other than a Sunday lunch on those grounds alone......

I suspect that Sky/BT (via the clubs) may have come to some arrangement with the police to pay them extra money for midweek/late games.

We used to hear of Merseyside Police going as far as threatening legal action to prevent a late kick-off.

Now, absolutely nothing over the last year or two from them, despite a number of high profile games at both grounds, at kick-off times that you'd expect them to object to.

Yeh just read they’ve got the whole end but less seats because of segregation, it will probably be netting over the bit next to the centenary

I'm all for Everton getting 8000. They gave us 15% in the 2009 replay. But all these clubs who take the piss like Arsenal, they should be kicked out the competition if they can't comply with the rules. Fed up of us always fulfilling our obligations and then other teams screwing us out of tickets.

Most expensive is £5 more than the cheapest in the Kop usually so I would hazard the guess at £36.

The kop seats are uasully 37, 39, 42, 43.. can see a similar gap between the prices here.
Got 4 in 208... should at least be 31/each, not bad!

The clubs’ third-round tie has been chosen to stage a live trial of so-called Video Assistant Referees (VARs) from the televised fixtures shown by the BBC and BT between January 5-8.

Those will kick off with the Merseyside derby on the BBC on the night of Friday, January 5, which was deemed too high-profile a fixture to conduct English football’s first live VAR test.
