My worry now is, those of us who got to 13 last season haven't done fan update but could be eligible for tickets in these 2k. If by some miracle we are and are successful in any ballot I can see there being problems with getting in with no fan update completed.

I think if members have any chance at all (I don't think we will) then it'll be 15/15 from last season for sure, same as seasies

Sure I read somewhere Everton have put an announcement out about ST and hospo sales.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Not sure... but I don't see how that is any different to being in a pub/restaurant with measures in place serving a substantial meal with booze

2000 hopso would get the same revenue as 10000-15000 normal tickets, maybe even more

No it's not about that, it's about not shafting the normal price paying fan.

With the tier restrictions, common sense from clubs point of view is to only sell to locals. Put some criteria in such as 15/15 or STH and L postcode and go from there.

I agree surely it’s got to be an L postcode.

I’ll give it a month before Liverpool is back in tier 3. As someone mentioned, the pubs round the grounds will be rammed with tier 3 people, causing spikes just look how Liverpool went from 60 per 100k to 700 odd prior to going into tier 3. Same things just happened to Kent from tier 1 to tier 3

Should be just locals IMO I'm not local so it would affect me and I definitely would travel down from Notts if given a ticket, but fully understand if they say L post code ballot.

Agreed.

On the membership renewal discussion, the club charge an exorbitant amount for tickets like all clubs, so why would people renew their membership when there was no guarantee of any tangible benefits at the time. The thoughts of citicising or ostracising those that didn't is utterly ridiculous.

I'm sure all members who qualify at the point of tickets being offered to members will be afforded the opportunity to renew with no detriment.

The pubs round the ground won’t be allowed to open. And the idea the club would be facilitating people coming in to the area from outside shouldn’t be up for consideration either.

It’ll be a strange one to see a ticket announcement

It won't be L postcodes as someone in Birkenhead lives closer than someone in Ormskirk. If it's going to be local it will be a radius.

True but you could argue that they in Birkenhead should be included in the local sales over someone who lives in Ormskirk, due to them being more local and the club seem happy to ignore that fact... (probably for ease)   So wouldn’t surprise me if they did the L postcode as they already have the system set up for that.

Personally I'd keep the Kop as it is with the flags on and have everyone else dotted around the ground

Is right, a 54,000-seat stadium with barely 2,000 fans inside would look empty anyway, I'd go for opening only the centenary lower and keep the banners in the Kop

Pubs are still not allowed to open anyway unless they serve 'substantial meals' and you can also only be with members of your own household.

If we're going off the actual rules, like

Seems to me that it'll be a convenient excuse to blame the football fans for the spike in Jan that the 5 days of Christmas will cause.

Despite it being all sports that are allowed to have spectators again? Not everything is done with a view to blaming certain people for rises in cases.

Where does it say that... Everton’s latest is this;

Details of the ballot process for Season Ticket Members and Seasonal Hospitality Members for the visit of Chelsea on 12 December will be communicated to eligible fans in the coming days after the conclusion of planning discussions.

The ballot will ONLY be open to Season Ticket and Hospitality Members, with the aim of keeping family and friend groups together where possible. Fans will have to ‘opt-in’ for the ballot.

I’m not a hospitality member by the way haha, just can’t imagine the club not doing anything for their hospitality customers

I also assume it will be people who live in the Liverpool region only as they’ve asked to make sure personal information is up to date to support the process

Hospitality members at Liverpool have been emailed. Basically due to reduced capacity no hospitality being provided just the standard normal ballot or whatever they decide.

I did, what does nfc stand for?
And what about ticket cash, what's that?
