Yep - it's the floppy-collar Torres kit, without the collar.  Pretty much the same cut as our yellow and white & green kits from the season before (2006-07) too (Kuyt, Riise, Bellamy, and all that).

Also worn by the Adidas teams at the World Cup - Germany, France, Japan, and more...

I’d say the top teams will still attract a more high profile sponsor from other fields, but the amount of companies I’ve never heard of sponsoring shirts these days is mad.

Not sure I would say they were forced. They agreed a new deal with Puma in 2019 where they got 20 million Euros more per year for wearing this abomination in return.

They tweaked it very slightly because there is an embossed badge on the left side of the chest where the badge would usually be.

But yeah, they've lost that battle haven't they.

It looks lovely in that pic ^^^ but all the pics I've seen of it on the players it looks like the lighter shade from our aqua kit last season.

Loved that shirt of ours, one of my favourites from recent years.

A bit of a throwback here, Brentford have announced they will keep the same home shirt for 2022/23.

They’ve said they have made far more from being in the Premier League than they’ll make from retail sales so will keep it for another season. A bit of guff around the reasons around it in the link, but still quite commendable in this day and age.
