Giving all the early Maiden albums a spin today in remembrance of Carl aka Sir Harvest Fields who passed away 12 days ago and is getting buried today. In 15 mins actually... :sad

There's an Iron Maiden song riff that I can't get out of my head and it is a slow droning blues like it was a repeating slow riff that I think broke up a well known but unfindable song of theirs that is now stuck in my head.

I'm searching Youtube now but it doesn't appear to be on their top 10 songs, so I'm thinking it is because it is slow (and I think it finishes off a song).

But I've been listening to Maiden a lot for the past few days and how similar their guitar player is to David Gilmour's style is mad. Maiden are a lot faster and 'metal' of course, I was just thinking this as I was listening back on some of their songs.

Buy yeah, ear worm.
