Dentists tell you to brush your teeth before breakfast. Something to do with your saliva levels.

I dunno how anyone brushes before eating / drinking.
If you brush just before going for a pint it tastes like mouthwash!

When I wake up and before I go to bed, sometimes during the day if I think I need it and definately before I go for a dental check up.

According to my dentist you should only brush your teeth once a day, but make sure it's for at least 10 minutes.  And it doesn't matter when you do it, as long as it isn't more than 24 hours after you last brushed them.

That's what I do before bed each night. Have to be careful not to brush too hard though
or you can damage your gums / or weaken your tooth enamel.

You should brush prior to eating

Plaque builds up on your teeth along with other bacteria, when you eat, your acidic levels in your mouth increase and while they are at an increased level your teeth are attacked by the plaque and bacteria causing cavaties, however 20-30 mins after eating these acid levels return to normal and the erosion is less likely to take place

after breakfast. never undertood people who brush them, and then proceed to eat sugary cerals, drink tea with sugar etc immediately after, which then sits in their mouth for hours afterwards.

I wake up, make a brew then go in the shower with it on the side, taking sips now and then. Once its finished I brush my teeth then about 15 minutes later after some glasses of water I don't taste that minty, so I can eat.

After I eat, I use mouthwash then proceed to the front door.

10 minutes! My dentist recommened one of these

2 minutes with that then interdental brush for between the teeth.

On a working day:

Wake up, shower, brush teeth, grab couple of slice of toast for commute to work, eat on the way in to save time as I almost always run late.

On a non-working day:

Wake up, shower, have coffee and a bite to eat, then brush teeth afterwards while not running round like a headless chicken.

EDIT: Just went for a dentist check-up after about 4 years of not seeing one and (touch wood) my teeth are fine, except for a bit of plaque build-up (to be expected after 4 years!!)

Before, definitely. If you happen to have a blocked nose and sleep with your mouth open, it dries out and everything tastes like sandpaper the next morning, not to mention the morning breath.

I've stopped being surprised by watching people eat and drive at the same time really. Just waiting for some sod to be having his Kellogs with milk. If that happens, to hell with the gf, I'm eating my bacon and sausages on the go as well.

Definitely morning and night, it's important to make a sweeping motion, as a lot of people make the mistake of pounding away.

I find Crest the best, but if i'm being honest, as long as you stay away from stain foods such as curries, i think as long as you ger the technique right you're fine.
Did Shevchenko score his rebound?
Why was there an ambulance behind the goal for Tommason's Penalty?
