I didn't watch either, except our game against Preston, but is it correct that VDG was viewed to have performed better in the Championship last year?
With the tumultuous week of injuries hampered prep, I suppose the logic is it's not the idea time for a full debut for VDB even if it's a little short termist

It's going a bit unsaid, but you've got to imagine Hendo is pissed off. When this happens in other big games (including a couple in the CL with five man benches) he came into the game and used that aggression brilliantly and helped us over the line. Fingers crossed for something similar

how about trust in the manager and his staff who know what's happening behind the scenes. You would have thought they deserve that after what they've done over the last seven years
