The only way I see him as a starter is if we change formation and play:-
Nunez
Diaz Gakpo Salah
And I just can’t see that being the case.

You are also reliant on an aging Salah still retaining the pace to break the lines and get in behind. Without that pace, you just end up playing in front of teams. For me the Mane, Bobby and Mo front three worked so well because both Mane and Mo had electric pace.

I think its also worth noting that both Mane and Mo could and can beat a man and go in behind. Diaz seems to prefer to have the ball played into feet and works between the lines in front of defenders more often than not.
